Coicidence???

My sister reminded me this morning that today is the one year aniversary of our dog's death (he died of old age). This morning, unaware of that fact, I had this lucid dream-Darn Dog!-Lucid #58 - Dream Journals - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views. Suddenly this dream doesn't seem so random! To recap, on the one year aniversary of my dog's death, my subconcious pretty much directly informs me that I'm dreaming, forcing me to remember the dream and my dog relentlessly follows me around in the dream, which doesn't end until I spend some "quality" time with him. I feel so bad now that I tried to get rid of him! I wouldn't have if I knew today was the day he died! Next time I'm lucid, I'll try to summon him to redeem myself. Luckily my lucid dreams have been coming at a good rate lately.

I've only remembered two dreams in my life that have included this dog. I was never aware of the date he died but my subconcious probably recognized the date beforehand at work. I did have thoughts recently before this dream what it would be like to talk to my dog in a dream so the dream might have been incubated.

Was this dream a coicidence? Did my mind unconciously take note of the date he died? Was this a supernatural experience? I'd like to read your thoughts.

I think that in your sub conscience mind remembered your dogs date of death and you had a dream about it. I bet that your sub conscience knows more then you think ;)

I agree with marine recon I think your subconscious took note of the date! That is seriously awesome!
