My mind was all over the place

I think I might have been partially lucid as I wasn't totally in control. I tried hitting someone I knew but it didn't affect the guy. The dream seemed like it went for hours as I looked at a clock for the first time in a dream. The clock was pretty stable but it looked strange. I met this weird lady who didn't look too human. It looked like her face was sewn together with something. Don't know what it was but it wasn't disgusting. I also had some false awakenings but it wasn't an awakening to my current home. It was a room I think when I was a kid. I had to order myself to really wake up and it took a few tries.

Control does not a lucid dream make.

You can have different degrees of control, or none at all. If you know you were dreaming, that's a lucid. But you can have different levels of awareness in a LD. Work on your daytime awareness to have better awareness in dreams.

What I recommend is that you visually focus on what is in front of you as that is just one of the few things we are able to control. As for having thoughts and feelings, I am not sure those are controllable.
