First lucid dream of 2013 (8th lucid)
So I've had an unexpected lucid dream this morning. It was a DILD. I woke up at 9am, I've recalled this long vivid dream and I wrote it down. Then I went back to sleep. I didn't use a mantra, and I wasn't really expecting a lucid dream. So in real life, I'm thinking of changing schools, which is a big decision. In my dream, I was at this new school sitting behind my desk. And a random girl called Lana and Casey (actor from home and away) were sitting next to me. They were talking to me about how easy it was to settle in. Then we got a test about festivals and concerts. The text was blurry, I told Casey I couldn't read it, he said he could. At this point, I realised I was dreaming. I didn't even do a reality check, cause I was 100% sure I was dreaming. And it was so dark in my class room aswell. So I said to Casey: "What am I doing here? I'm not even suppose to be in this new school, I'm dreaming". His reply was: "Well Brent, you're new here, you changed schools. You're not dreaming, don't be silly". So I decided to walk out of class and suddenly I was at my dads house upstairs. I wanted to fly, that was the first thing that came to my mind. At first, I wanted to jump from the stairs, but I was afraid I was going to fail and hurt myself. So I started jumping and everytime I got a bit higher. With my last jump, I've hit the ceiling and floated down slowly. A few seconds later, everything went black and I woke up. So this lucid dream lasted for a few minutes. I'm not sure why I woke up, cause I was quite calm. But I'm happy with this lucid and it was very unexpected. :)
This has nothing to do with the lucid experience. But the past week I've had 14 false awakenings in 7 days. I never actually realised it, until now. So I dream about a certain thing and then I dream about waking up and writing down the dream. So when I really wake up, I always assume that I've already written down that dream which I didn't. So I forgot alot of dreams, just cause of these false awakenings. Now that I know, I can use these false awakenings as an advantage to become lucid. I just wanted to share this with you guys :D.
