Thread: My FIRST Lucid Dream!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Opinions?!?!

Okay So Im not sure if this was a legit lucid dream. Or IF was fully lucid. Well I know for a fact that I wasnt fully lucid. So it's 3:30 AM right now. I went to sleep around 4 pm, got up around 11 pm, watched some tv, ate some cookies and a anchilada and then decided to go back to sleep around 1 AM. Anyways, this is what happened:


So, In the Dream, I was at Some beach with my brother and yady yady yada, Im not going to bore you with details, but anyways, For some reason the beach ended up closing or something. So I grabbed my bag and went "outside". It was weird, Like, I grabbed my bag from the grass area of the beach and when i left or something, its as if it became a building and I was now outside...... Anyways so when I went "outside", it was SNOWING. And My Grandfather and Brother for some reason were waiting for me in MY CAR(weird).

But it's as if my grandfather was there with us before i went outside(but he wasnt) and he and my brother were just waiting for me. It was weird. lol. but whatever. Maybe he was just there to pick us up? I dont know lol

Anyways, I start walking towards the car and I like slip on some Ice and sort of slide. And I was on like a sidewalk, and they were in a parking spot.

Sort of like a sidewalk when you're coming out of a grocery store or wal mart or something and you see a car in the closest parking spot.

Anyways. I ended up sliding and I was like "Wheeeee" and laughing about it, because there was a couple people coming out after me and I didnt wanna be embarassed. Lol. Then I got up and was embarrased and just wanted to get in the car and get the hell out of there and my Grandpa and Brother in the car decided to try to pull up next to me. And My Grandpas a crazy cocky driver. Hes old. and a Guy. lol . So he like tried going really fast up next to me and slid on the ice and ALMOST hit this like pole on the sidewalk. I was laughing I think. And Im like damn, that was close. Then He went back around and TRIED AGAIN(cause hes cocky) and Hit it this time! and I was laughing again(for whatever reason) and then another car behind me slowly like hit him from behind. Like a Bumper cart. And I thought it was just all so Weird. So Im like, "WAIT IM 'STILL' DREAMING" and looked at my hands and there was like 7 or 8 fingers.

Now this is where it gets weird. I believe I said "still dreaming" because I SORT OF remember Like thinking I was awake from a previous lucid dream or something. But I just cant remember.

So anyways, As soon as I "realized" I was "still" dreaming, I decided to, FOR WHATEVER REASON, wake myself up. So I closed my eyes and told myself to "Wake up wake up wake up" and it got dark and i felt myself back in my body , but i couldnt move for a few seconds, but i remained calm and did what you guys have recomended. Tried wiggling my toes and fingers and just tell myself to relax and move. And I did! within seconds.

So ya, thats it. See, I believe i mustve been partially lucid. Or something. Because I do not know why I woke myself up. I think i got scared or something.
