New to This!
Hello!
Yesterday I stumbled across a youtube video about lucid dreaming. It instantly grabbed my attention, a smile appeared on my face and didn't leave until I had read up about it. What I read, I enjoyed!
Dreams have always intrigued me, not for interpreting or anything, but I have never had a dream in colour. Has anyone else had this? Does it mean anything? Anyway, due to this, I have sometimes known when I have been dreaming, like being able to wake myself up out of a bad dream etc.
Back to the story, It was about 9.00pm, so a couple of hours before I went to sleep. I decided on my reality check was to try to push my finger through my palm. I did this quite often before bed.
During the night I woke up a couple of times, I tried the reality check, and my finger didn't go through. However, when I woke up a third time, it did go through! I was shocked! So I tried it with a paint brush ( don't know why or where it came from lol) but it worked too!
I can't remember any more than that, I just wanted to share this experience and see what people though about dreaming in black and white?
Thanks,
Eucid

Welcome to Dreamviews!
That must have been a shock, when your finger went through, ey? I know how you feel, it's awesome!
I have read, that people who grew up on black-and-white TV also dream in B&W. Sometimes, when I have a vivid dream and I can clearly recall details, I do remember colors. And Lucids are in color.
Let us know if you have any questions. Happy dreams:alien:

I'm only 28, so I grew up with colour tv. Maybe I just don't remember colours, I really don't know...
I was a bit shocked, but it did feel good! I tried to control it, but completely forgot how!

Eat some food with B6, like bananas. It may make your dream more detailed and vivid. As to control, every dream could be different.
