      Lucid dream

I have been reading a lot about LD-s and i remembered that i had a LD as a kid but i didn't know it back then. It was like this:
I went to school with my parrot and then idk what happened but then i saw its cage being stuffed with some kind of cream cheese thing and then i realized i am dreaming. And i also dreamt about going to sleep and dreaming in that dream. Now i want to LD again but i don't wana do WILD or anything like that because of hallucinations. Which method should i use?

You can use DILD or MILD, but don't shy away from WILD because of HH.

So are they as scary as they say they are? I have only heard people talking about demons. Screaming and scary sounds.

Do you have dream journal? If not, get one, it helps alot with many lucid dreaming aspects independently of the technique, also be sure to pick an reality check to use, but remember that the key is not mechanical action, but awareness.
DILD and MILD are good methods to start for most of people, so i recommend trying them first, here's some threads with info about that for you to check :

As for hallucinations, they can be all controlled, if you think that they are scary, they will be, if you think about something good, you will get nice hallucinations. In any case if you want to try WILD, here's a nice indepth tutorial worth reading: WILD
