Semi-Lucid Thought Exploration
I came to walking down an overgrown concrete road. This road split through the woods and ended at a gate. The gate was black, probably 6 feet high and had initials bent into the metal bars. I decided to walk through onto a gravel path. I knew this path, I had been here before. The sun shown through the trees and the wind blew lightly through the leaves. It was summer, nearing autumn. I kept on, walking on the gravel until I came to a place I had been looking for. The great house before me held the secrets I needed. It was beautiful, the front resembled the side of the white house with the slanted roof. Vines grew up and down the old, white walls. I walked past old shrubs and broken columns to the front door. Before I entered something stopped me. The faint tune of a piano could be heard. As I made it through the front door the noise grew louder. The wind also made noises from down the hall. I followed both the wind and piano to a massive set of black double doors. The door created open, my eyes started to adjust to the light. Before me was a great piano in front of an open window. The wind blew the curtains on top of the piano. Behind one of the waving curtains was a beautiful girl. She was probably 17 years of age, had light brown hair, and her eyes were as blue as the sky outside. She wore a simple dress, it was white like everything else in the room save the piano. But those eyes, they glared right through me. It felt as if ice was slowly freezing my insides. I tried to get closer but every step i heard a crack, and one tear would stream down her face. Just before reaching her a loud shattering followed by darkness. I opened my eyes just to be laying in my bed.
