Was I Lucid in my dream?
So last night i had my first lucid dream.... maybe. I'll tell you what I remember and let you decide. I don't know what triggered me to perform a reality check but I did, surely enough I didnt have a thumb and three of my fingers were shorter than usual. I knew i was dreaming, i even said it. I couldn't control my dream, but i was in control of my body, I could move were i wanted. I woke up shortly after... but in a different dream. In this dream i wasn't lucid. I remember telling my brother i had just had my first lucid dream. Then I woke up for real. I don't know if the first dream was a lucid one or not, because i woke up in a normal dream afterwards, Hallp!

Also I read something about when you dream sometimes you do something linked to what you did the day before when you were awake, i think i performed the reality check at my computer playing League of legends lool.

Congrats on first lucid dream! :goodjob2:
Being lucid means being aware of dreaming, and you were, so you were lucid! First lucid dreams sometimes can be pretty short, but they definitely will become longer with practice. ;)
Also what you did experienced is called false awakening, it's when you 'wake up' in dream and do things you usually do when waking up, they can be pretty confusing, i suggest you to make reality check every time you wake up/get up from the bed, that way you can catch false awakenings and make them lucid dreams. :)
And yeah, dreams are often based on stuff that we do through the day and other memories from the past.
