Lucid dreaming to wake up into another lucid dream?

So almost every time I LD now I wake up in my house, think I've actually awoken to real life, spend 20 or so minutes relatively (dream time) then I actually wake up to real life. I don't understand why this is happening and it's been going on for about 2 years now since I have gained incredible control over my dreams. Has anyone else had this happen? And do you think it's possible that's the reason for my gained control (like I'm in a deeper dream or something)?
