Last night a had a LD get away from me, I think from the lack of me needing to do RC's to become lucid backfired on me. I had one of the worst experiences I have ever had, from murder unexplainable violence and deciet from DC's, myself and the dreamscape... I was lucid but left with zero control. I think may e I need to practice some new techniques to avoid something like this in the future. |

I think I know what you meant.Lucid dreaming is just being aware that you are dreaming,Dream control comes as a bonus. That was your subconscious. He just wanted to have fun by transforming a LD into a Lucid Nightmare.I can say it's pretty rare.Just don't think about it.Nothing to worry about,It happens to a lot of people |

Im not able to control my lucidity yet, but I find my dreams are the most vivid and I recognize i'm in my dreams when I use the wake back to bed method. This could be something as simple as using the bathroom then going back to sleep for an hour before I wake up for work. |

Did you have any fearful emotions or negative emotions, maybe that is the problem. |

late response I know..but I wonder if the practice of meditation would increase chances of lucidity. In meditation, you learn to observe your thoughts and "scenes" that pop into your head with emotionally attaching to them and letting them take control. I've been doing meditation on and off for awhile and after 2 weeks of WILD practice, I had two lucid dreams...the first one was very controllable, as well as the second. It seems that the more we become AWARE of our emotions without feeling obligated to embrace them, the more control we have in life, including in our dreams. I don't know. Perhaps? |
