First lucid experience! Thoughts?
It started of me not being lucid, than halfway through my dream I woke up in the middle of the night. I felt myself going back into sleep so I kept saying to myself "I'm dreaming" than I remember forcing open my "dream eyes" which was really hard, and nearly accidentally opening my real eyes. But when I opened them I was back in the same dream I was having before, except mum was there and started talking to me (which made me nearly loose my lucidity) and than I remember looking straight at her and going hang on, I'm dreaming! I quickly did a reality check by counting my fingers, I had like, ten on one hand. Than I got that happy excited feel all down my body, but that quickly went away. I looked around for something to do, and there was one of mums magazines lying on the table, so I held out my hand to it like some magician, closed my eyes, imagined it, opened my eyes and it had turned pink. I was rather proud of myself even though it was such a small thing. I instantly left and went outside, looking for something to do. I remember noticing the grass beneath my feet, how I was standing on it, how real it felt, but I knew I was in my bed. At that moment I remembered my dream list of things to do in a lucid dream I made a few days ago.because often when I was younger when I had lucid dreams I would just roam around in my dream, talking to people, than I woke up like "why didn't I think to fly? Or build a castle? Or turn into a cat?" So I made a quick list of things I wanted to do in my lucid dreams. I could only remember two, fly, and go to outer space. I decided that I would need to fly to go to outer space. I breathed deeply, trying to believe I really could do it, knowing that if I had any doubt I would fail. I jumped, awkwardly hovered there for about five seconds as if my brain was trying to decide whether I could fly or not. It decided I couldn't. I left that because I knew it was tricky and that I could work on it in later dreams. Than I thought, "why don't I try going to someone else's dream? So I closed my eyes, trying to imagine a room with lots of doors in it. Opened my eyes, and I remember for a few seconds I was in a half morphed room before it turned back to the place I was standing before. Than this firework came out of nowhere and hit me in the stomach, all my guts were going everywhere (lol) and I was screaming, it than turned into a completely different dream in which I lost lucidity. Thoughts?
