First LD experience!
Hello!
So I had my first LD this morning! I woke up at 10:00, then I went to sleep again, but I put my earphones with Binaural Beats 16Hz. This thing has never been effective before, and I don't even know if I had my LD because of that or it was just a coincidence.
[The Dream]: I was talking with friends where I used to live before, playing football (I don't even like it (?)) and all that stuff. Then some of the faces changed but I didnt realize that in that moment.
I was about to leave that place, and I don't why, I said to myself: 'I am dreaming'.
Next thing I remember is that I was in my room, in my bed, looking at the wall, knowing it all was a dream. Everything was so distorted, with a lot of colors and weird shapes. I tried to do something, so I thought about a skull appearing through the wall, and it appeared, but it scared me as hell and I stopped thinking. The whole room was like shaking, vibrating. I don't know how, I knew I was about to wake up, and in a moment I was in my real room again. Five seconds later the binaural beats stopped.
It was awesome, but I didn't have a complete control, I mean, I couldn't move like I do in reality or the images I saw. I don't know, I guess it will get better with practice :D

This is awesome! Congratulations on your first! Yes, it does get better with practice. However, for a first LD this one was quite good already.

Congratz! :) Sounds like a good start. For me dream control is a somehow fluctuating factor. In some dream I have more control and in some dreams I have very little control... always depends. Just remember: lucidity does not equal control. It can be interesting to watch your dream unfol as well without being able to control it actively.
Anyway, you will definitely get better, the more you practice. What are you next lucid goals? :D

I would like to 'build' a dream inside another dream, like in 'Inception' :D

I've recently read in the forum that dreams within dreams don't actually work. They are much more a thing of putting your focus somewhere else which makes you think that you are having a dream within your dream :D However I have experienced this before and it is quite funny. I was in a shop and I wanted to have a LD so I just sat down on the floor, fell asleep and had a short LD...After that I woke up in the shop, forgot to do my RC and just continued with that dream hahaha... really strange.

Congrats on first lucid dream! :goodjob2:
It's not uncommon for first lucids to be short, but hey, you managed to summon that skull and that's some good dream control for a start, dream length and stability definitely will get better with practice. ;)
And also, you can check out this tutorial: http://www.dreamviews.com/articles/9...-tutorial.html :peek:

Thanks! I've already checked that, but the dream was very unstable and in that moment I didn't think about how to stabilize it
I hope to have another LD soon! :D
