      Succes and failure

      I'm new to the forum and had my first lucid experience, but it only lasted for a few minutes. The first thing I tried was shape shifting. I immediately felt wings growing out of my back, but the dream ended almost right after that. The second time I tried lucid dreaming, nothing happened. Any tips for making it easier to lucid dream?

      Congrats on your first lucid experience. Shape shifting is usually regarded as being quite advanced so congrats on that also. Stabilization could help with having longer lucids. As for getting more lucids in general, we have quite a few tutorials that can help with that. What technique did you use to have your first lucid?
