      Confirmed: Lucid Dream

I can honesty say now that I had my first Lucid Dream. I've done reality checks both in the dream and awake. In the dream my reflection faded and at some points was not there. I tried reading digital clocks in the dream but they were messed up. Now awake I can read them normally and I can see my reflection. I believe I had posted yesterday about having one, but that one I am not sure about. However, I believe this time it was truly my first Lucid Dream experience.

My eyes felt ticklish and heavy, and were fluttering but I was awake. I kept reminding myself I was dreaming.

I could only walk around and was doing this in my apartment at the time. I don't believe I've gained enough knowledge to change scenes or summon and other things yet. I still have to admit it was fun and strange at the same time. It's the first actual dream I've remembered in years.

I would like to know what I can do to improve my goals in Lucid dreaming.

I also want to ask if at any point this comes naturally while you sleep as in you want it to happen or if you need to continue working with techniques in order to achieve Lucid Dreaming.

Congrats on the first lucid dream!
Dream control works on expectations, you don't need to 'unlock' it or something unless you want to gain it that way, check out this tutorial: http://www.dreamviews.com/induction-...m-control.html
As for goals, think up some, something you really want to do, and if you have problem thinking up check out this thread: http://www.dreamviews.com/general-lu...cid-dream.html
As for it to happen naturally, some lucid dreamers became semi-natural or natural with practice so it's definitely possible as i know, keep practicing and working on techniques and maybe someday it will happen, think positive!

Thanks. I'm going to try agin tonight and then I will probably wait until Saturday evening to attempt it again. I have work Wednesday through Saturday and I want to do my best to make sure this doesn't get in the way of my normal life.

I actually saw that thread from a random Google search. I'll take another look and post my own few ideas. Thanks again.

So you would agree that was what I had?

Nice profile picture by the way!

Yeah, you were aware that you were dreaming, so you were lucid.
