      My Second Lucid Experience!

So, a few nights ago, I fell asleep like I usually do, dreading the next morning since I had to get up for school.
      BUT THEN! This happened...

I was in the middle of a dream (don't remember much of it) when I found myself standing on my driveway. It was quite dark outside, but a kind of dark that clouds don't usually cause. I felt as if something was off, and I ended up holding my hands out and looking at them. To my surprise, one of my hands had six small fingers, and the other had seven!
I got pretty excited, and I have a vague memory of shouting, "MOM, I'M DREAMING!" A few moments later, a giant bald eagle appeared and tried to eat my mom, brother and I. At one point, I even tried flying, so I looked up at the tree tops above me, and they started getting closer! I don't really remember much else...

I thought a lot about the dream when I woke up. It was by no means as vivid as waking life, but I still knew I was dreaming! Ironically, I never thought I would look at my hands in a dream due to habit, but hey, it happened!

This dream also serves as a reason for me to start posting on this forum again. I really need to focus on daily awareness and doing reality checks, since I haven't been doing that recently.

So yeah, thanks for reading this if you did!

Seems like we're in a similar boat! I've had about two lucid dreams so far, both being not very vivid. And I am also trying to use this forum as a way to increase my awareness.

Do you recall how you felt about the giant bald eagle attack? As in, did you feel like you were in control or was it simply terrifying?

      Congrats on the second lucid!
Awareness and vividness will all improve with practice, also be sure to practice dream journal and recall because sounds like you have problems recalling it fully, here's a good thread that can help: http://www.dreamviews.com/dream-sign...ompendium.html

I somewhat recall blaming my brother for letting it loose, and other than that I was just trying to get away from it as fast as I could! XD
