Inception? Oh, you have nothing on this! :P

I've always been fascinated by the power of dreams, but particuarly when it comes to 'Lucid' dreams. Just this week I'd been a little worried as I hadn't experienced this wonderful gift for nearly a year. I started to think, "Have I stopped? Lost the ability? As I've got older, do these powers go?" Last month however, at around half past seven those super human abilities came rushing back.
■I knew as soon as I got out of bed that I was dreaming. Excited already, I walked down the corridor in Dad's house, turned a corner and the sliding windows opened. Instantly I knew what I wanted to do and 'trod' air, so as to get into the sky. It's sort of like treading water only you're doing it with air.
■I felt the wind through my hair.
■I was flying across oceans and there were waves crashing below me. I had no control suddenly when I sped up, zooming like Superman across the skies and then, there was a white cruise ship below me. I have a feeling I thought of that because I'd heard about the cruise liner near Italy and the operation of getting it back on land.
■The whole thing was like watching something in HD. I dropped down, landing perfectly on the cruise ship and rushed to the edge of the boat, looking out. The cruise ship was rocking violently from side to side. It all felt so real.
■The temperature felt so warm, and I saw the sunshine spilling across the decks. It's at times like that I wonder 'What if there's much more to dreams than we think?' I'll talk about that later though.
■Possibly one of the best moments of the dream was when I spotted a Korean girl and her friend. I walked over and said "We're dreaming. Isn't it cool what our brains can do?" "Yes, it really is." "Are you experiencing this at the same time as me?" "Yes, I am." She was smiling at me, and it's a shame I won't see her again because she seemed like someone I could get on with easily!
■Location change. I didn't control this, it just happened. The dream changed somewhat and I was on a bus. The bus turned over and fell in the mud. I thought that we were going to be in trouble, but nobody was hurt. I had no idea where we were going at all, but I went with it because I still knew I was dreaming.
■Location change. I didn't control this, it just happened. I was running in a giant shopping centre at night, though it looked like a restaurant too. There were these giant red banners, and I was a spy being chased so I somersaulted over these poles on the ceiling. This was kind of like being in a computer game really.
■THEN, it all went very Inception. So many False Awakenings!
      ■ I 'woke' up and thought I was awake but didn't know, so went and asked Dad and his partner. They said it was real and that I should have got up earlier something like that. I walked on a little to see what I'd find and saw the red banners from earlier. I knew then I was stuck in the dream.
■I 'woke' a second time and thought it was real again as the door was open and my clothes were outside on the floor in a heap, (very usual for me! ) but turns out it wasn't.
■I 'woke' a third time and this time knew it wasn't real as my friend Helen was sat in the room with me. In my head I knew she was actually at work etc.

Eventually, my alarm woke me up but it didn't stop me going to Dad and asking him "Is THIS real life?" He looked really confused and said "Yes." I knew it was though, could just feel it. So yes, that's why I wanted to call this note "Inception? Oh, you have nothing on this!"

I have a feeling I'm really going to enjoy this site

The limited physical reality in where we live is much more unreal than many other realities, including but not limited to as dreams.

Amazing dream dude... the feeling of freedom is very cool. If you manage to Astral Project, you can feel it even more real... the higher we go, the more amazing it gets... Waking "Reality" is just a low quality illusion that we all believe to be real....

@PowerfulDreamer. What an amazing dream! You describe it so clearly, it makes me long for another lucid (it has been a while since my last). Thanks for sharing.
@PercyLucid. may I ask what you mean by "the higher we go"? Thanks!

The higher realms of existence that you travel too and/or the more deep within your self you go, the more you realize we are so little and insignificant.

PercyLucid- Thanks very much I'm just pleased I've found a site where I can share my experiences with other like-minded people!

BarefootDreamer- It was amazing, the logic that I posess while asleep is more than when I'm awake lol

charlila-I mean, in the sense that maybe there are other worlds we don't know about. Everything feels so real, it's only slower sometimes in pace when you walk around but then other times, you can speed up like I did. There's always been talks about parallell universes hasn't there? Just an idea, but the whole thing really fascinates me.

      Thanks for your input guys

      Congrats on lucid!
False awakenings can be confusing, but you can use them for your advantage, do reality check every time you wake up and you will do same in dream and become lucid.
      Good luck!

sure, other worlds exist. parallel universes, though, nail the hair on my nape. i want to be the only me in my own universe, no blurred copies, thanks.
