Lucid but body feels heavy and hard to move

      11/25/13 10:35AM
I already got sleep, so I'm sure this is why this happen. I was reading bout ppl's LDs in bed than decided to sleep a little more without intentions of LDing or anything. I just had SP but like in the dreamworld I guess I'm in a room that looks like mines but not really but i'm stuck in the bed and all I can do is barely toss and turn while like breathing hard. Than I have a FA still in bed with SP I try to move but same barely can only move in bed and something is attacking me. I hear like a roar and it's attacking my thigh, it hurts. It ends and I have another FA/SP I guess, again in what looked like my room but not really but this time I see my covers are brown instead of blue and out the corner of my eye I see someone in a wedding dress which I guess was a mannequin because a mannequin hand slowly stretches towards me, which freaks me out a bit. I try moving but my body and limbs feel so heavy and it's very hard to move. That mannequin hand continues to stretch more and more but very slowly, I eventually managed to get out the bed but my eyes are still glued to that hand while I'm trying to put my feet in my addidas slides lol. Since my body is so heavy and I move slow, I give in by reaching for the mannequin's hand. I grab her hand, expecting to feel a plastic hand but instead I feel as if I'm clenching my covers. Now finally awake in my bed with my eyes close and that same hand I used is in fact clenching my covers lol. That felt so real! I've read bout amatuers alike who when they breakthrough their body feels heavy and it's hard for them to move too but why is that? Was I supposed to try to stabilize? I didn't even think of doing it, I was so alarmed by the mannequin. I didn't even think I would be able to get out the bed, eitherway IT WAS COOL EXPERIENCE AND CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE!!! It's been probably over a year since my first and very short LD. To the people who are scared of SP and the "spookyness" it's really not that scary. Just all in the moment type thing

      Congrats on lucid dram!
It's not really SP if it's in dream, just FA with paralysis, i call it 'Fake SP' personally. So just use some dream control and expect to get out of paralysis! Same for slow moving, and yeah stabilization could have helped.
Here"s a good tutorial on dream control: http://www.dreamviews.com/induction-...m-control.html , and here's stabilization tutorial as well: http://www.dreamviews.com/articles/9...-tutorial.html

Once, I had this LD, started as a FA, then I performed reality check and entered lucid state. It was very realistic and I could control some things in it, like the color of the sky I saw through the window, but my body was so incredibly heavy I could barely move. I wanted to fly out of the window and perform some activities but reaching the window seemed impossible. I ended up crawling (!) on the floor towards the window unable to stand up.
It wasn't as scary as it sounds, but still quite unpleasant and I was very frustrated that I cannot enjoy possibilities of my LD as much as usual.
Scionox, do you think that your reply applies to my situation as well? As I mentioned before the clarity was great and I could still control things other than my movement.
(This LD happened after a sleepless night, during 30-35 minute morning nap, I was exhausted. But I don't see how this could affect the condition of my body in a dream)

If you mean using dream control and stabilization to fix it in dream then yeah, because alot of things in dream work on our expectation. Though major sleep problems like sleepless nights actually can possibly affect dreams, that's why keeping stable sleeping schedule is very recommended.
