      My 2nd lucid dream!

So last night I had my second lucid dream but my first lucid dream since coming back to dreamviews, it was short but it unexpected!

All it involves is me in my town, Romford, I'm with my two friends when i realise I'm dreaming, I then do the nose plug RC and I can breath! My first thought is, I'll punch one of my mates, but then I remember, I want to fly. However I was unsuccessful, and when I tried to fly, my eyes opened and I was in my bed however I done another RC to check if it's a FA, but it's not.

Thanks for reading and I'll welcome any tips on how to get my 3rd and make it longer and more vivid!
Penny: So what do you say Sheldon, are we your X-men?
Sheldon: No, the X-men were named for the X in Charles Xavier. Since I am Sheldon Cooper, you will be, my C-men.

First of all, great job on your second lucid . Despite it being short, its still a large step towards your overall goal (which I assume is have regular lucid dreams ). Most of my lucids have been short so far, but a few things that I found that really helped:
      1. Learn how to stabilize your dream. Or at least read up on the idea. If you don't know already, stabilizing your dream is doing something after you become lucid to help keep yourself centered in your dream so that you don't wake up immediately. I'm not an expert at all and haven't really read much about this, but one thing I like to do when I get lucid is to take a second to become aware of my surroundings and feel the dream.

I couldn't really remember what else I was going to say, so yeah. For tips on achieving your third (and beyond) lucid dream, I would say to just stick with what you are doing. If you're not, write in a Dream Journal, maybe take a look at ADA, or just browse around in the achieving lucidity section. That's what I like to do . Just stay motivated! Good luck but most of all have fun

Great job on your second lucid!

As DragonMaster21 mentioned, stabilization will help out a lot in lengthening your lucid dreams. So i'd encourage you to look up some techniques, and figure out which would/does work best for you.

Also, Do you remember any more details as to what happened when you tried to fly? Like what sensations were present, if any, and what thoughts did you have? Again, If any at all. This is of course before you woke up.

Aside from what the other two guys said (which I agree with) I have my own two cents! Congrats on your Lucid! First off, you might want to avoid being mean to your dream characters because it's like being mean to yourself!!! Haha. It may sound weird, and although it's fun, you may wake up with a sour taste in your mind. Secondly, learning to fly can be challenging. I have never had that problem for some reason but in ONE dream I sort of 'forgot' how to. You want to start taking jumps, and leaps, until each stride becomes longer and higher. Eventually you will learn to fly after less than a minute of that in a dream. Have fun!

      Congrats on your second lucid!

As everyone else said, stabilization is a way to go, and also try to be calm in lucid. Also dreams will become longer with practice too as you get better feel of lucid dreaming.

Yh I was going to try some leaps and jumps as you said, but right when i was about to I woke up. It wasn't due to excitement as for some reason, In my two lucids, I haven't really been excited, it's like my emotions have been blocked and it just feels like any other dream.
