Teleporting, flying and materialising friends

Greetings fellow Oneironauts

This will be the first full dream that I've posted about on here, but I feel what happened during it is too amazing not to talk about.

The dream began at my old school, which now seemed to have undergone an extreme Gothic makeover, with whole additional hallways and buildings all done in a Gothic style, similar to a cathedral or abbey. I found myself tucked away in a small room under a great staircase, similar to a storage closet or janitors room. with me were my brother and someone I knew from my time at school. We were sitting watching a small TV, perched on a wooden box or crate. I do not remember what we were watching exactly, but I seem to get the feeling it was some kind of historical documentary (the type you'd be made to watch if you took any kind of class in history). The show ended and the three of us got up and left, the other two initiating and me following behind, unquestioning at this point as typical in dreams. We exited out next to the great staircase, which was in a great hall at the entrance of the school. We all turned right and out of the entrance and down the steps that led to the school and out into the street.
We came to a junction, with a road crossing in front of us diagonally. The buildings around us were Victorian houses and the area seemed very green with a lot of trees, moss growing on brick walls etc. Across the road form us was some kind of museum or state building. Outside it stood several soldiers or guards standing in formation practising their marching, they seemed to be doing this for show and did not seem to be actually guarding the building, allowing me to enter unhindered. The interior of the building was completely unrestrained by the laws of nature and physics, this might have been the first thing that tipped me off that I was dreaming. The interior was almost like a series of trenches, but not man made. There seemed to be a maze of natural ditches and trenches going ever on. To help things further the interior was in total darkness, a few oddly coloured source-less lights occasionally lighting the way.
Walking through this maze alone having had my companions disappear I eventually came across someone, calmly sitting on an old wooden stool watching an old TV, similar to what I had been doing earlier. They were in a large open area, illuminated by a faint red light. I had the feeling that they were some kind of teacher but I cannot remember a single feature of theirs other than them possibly being female. They noticed me and slowly turned their head towards me before uttering some words to me.

Upon hearing her words I became fully lucid, I decided to leave this place, teleporting back outside on the street. Being the well trained Oneironaut that I am I immediately started to check my surroundings and myself to confirm that I was dreaming and to attempt to ground myself. I checked my hands, which were completely gone. I then looked around at the buildings and thought to myself "this is a boring setting", looking towards the sky and slowly lifting off. Upon reaching a height a few feet above the buildings I began to jet off away from the street. The area around me consisted of houses, trees and small roads so I decided that I would test out a technique I had heard about. I closed my eyes and asked calmly that I would like to see a new locale and that when I open my eyes I will be somewhere new. I opened my eyes and found myself hovering a few feet from the ground in a city that I knew, it was a few miles from where I used to live. I was happy how my intent had paid off and directed the dream so I decided to take it one step further. Again closing my eyes I said to myself "I know this City and I know XXX lives here, when I open my eyes they should be around the corner". I opened my eyes and landed on the ground, suddenly the person I had expected walked around the corner to see me landing. I greeted them and explained to them not to worry that I had been floating a few seconds ago and that everything is under control. We gave one another a hug and then parted ways.
The dream ended soon after this

That is a great LD. I see your LD count is 5. You're level of control is excellent after only 5 LDs.

How did you teleport from that dark place to the outside of the building? Did you simply close your eyes and will yourself there?

I was surprised myself by how much control I had. The other four dreams were far more limiting in where I could go and what I could do. For example, one of them had me constrained to the same three or four rooms on the same floor of the house I used to live in. You can see why I felt this dream was much more liberal and open in comparison.

I don't remember it being a conscious decision by myself, something inside me told me that I had heard or learnt everything there was to know at that moment from this figure. Perhaps it wasn't my decision and I was made to leave?
