Interesting Lucid Thought / Experience

Last night I had a Lucid experience where in my dream I thought to myself "I have had this dream before" And I knew what was going to happen. So, I told the person next to me in my dream that this guy was going to give me his phone number. So, when he came up to give it to me, I said "no." And he looked at me as if thinking, 'That's not supposed to happen in this dream, that's not in the script.' And he began looking very confused. Then he threw the paper with the number on it at me and said, "take it anyway" and then he walked away.
Then, in my dream, I thought to myself something along the lines of 'I can't change the dreams that have already happened, even if I know it 's a dream.'
That's when I lost the Lucidiness.
It was very interesting.
Has anyone ever had something like this happen before?

You can change your dreams at will. The fact that you altered your dream means you had a totally different one(even if it's the same setting).

It would have been cool to ask him why he wanted you to have it.

perhaps telling the dream character what was going to happen caused your subconcious to act it out, and then when you changed your mind you confused it. It's like saying "give me the number" then saying "no, don't give it to me." I'd be confused, too.
