Lucid Dream?

Hello so I have never lucid dream'ed before.

So this afternoon I went to take a small nap and suddenly I appeared sitting on my couch downstairs. I quickly realized I was in a dream so I tried doing a reality check. My fingers passed through each other but everything was blurry. I tried to stand up or levitate but suddenly I felt numbness all over my body and I woke up in my bed. The numbness was gone and so was my first lucid dream experience.

The Lucid experience lasted for like 6-10 seconds before I woke up so I wanted to ask what did I do wrong? I can't remember getting really excited about being in a Lucid Dream but I was certainly happy at that moment and then everything was gone :c

Congratulations! The first lucid dream is super short for most people. Don't worry about it. Now concentrate on having more of them, and you will get longer ones.

Congrats on your first LD! Just keep practicing, and they will get lengthier and you will be able to do more in them. :)
