It's getting better all the time!

This was a MILD. The best LD yet. I had conversations with DC's, everything was vivid, I had control and I was airborn!

The dream started with me walking down the street talking with a coworker from many years ago. (He was a singer and we sang together a couple of times.)
I asked him if he was still singing and he shook his head no. I asked why not and he looked sad and said..."just follow me". So we walk a short way and enter a huge building that looked very ancient. There were a few people scattered about, all with their eyes on me as if they had been waiting for me. They were all dressed like ancient Egyptians. There was a lady with a small baby standing against a wall and I noticed there was no place to sit. By this time, my coworker had vanished and I walked toward a very wide staircase that led to another large room where there was a white marble chair in the center. It was a very simple design but somehow I got the impression it was only meant for royalty to sit on. As I stood at the top of the stairs looking down, a very young girl walked up to me and put her hands on my arm to help me down the stairs.

At this point in the dream it clicked...something is very strange about this.
I turned to the little girl holding my arm and said "I'm going to have to ask you to let go of my arm, sweetie, because I think we may be in a dream and I have to look at my hands to be sure". She gave me a curious look but obliged. I held up my hands and yes..they were deformed. I told the girl that I was going to have to leave because I wanted to fly. She asked " can you really fly?" I replied "why sure..just watch..I'm going to fly above the treetops". And off I went...instantly I was gliding slowly at tree top level down an old tree-lined street that had a median strip. There were old apartment buildings with balconies on both sides of the street, and every now and then I would glide past the balconies for a while. I stopped at one balcony, hovering in the air, to examine a small cage that sat on a table at the edge. I picked it up and looked...there were two mice and they both gave me a smile...I smiled back and returned the cage to the table and flew on my way. Back to treetop level and down this old beautiful street. It lasted a long while before I woke up. Needless to say I was floating on a cloud the rest of the day. No pun intended. What a feeling of freedom.
So, that's it...please let me know if that was too much detail or long and boring...sometimes I have a tendency to ramble on.

Just to give you all a heads up...I will be posting some of my music soon in the Artist section. As soon as I figure out how!
