Fun LD -- First time using a Rocket Pack!

I can't very well recall how this dream started, but I remember finding myself in a sort of machine room where there was a lot of equipment, machines, and electronics of some sort. I was in some sort of cockpit, except there were no windows or controls in front of me. Something was strapped to my back and my arms were holding onto some grips on each side. I was fully lucid at this point. Whatever was hooked to my back was hooked to something on the ceiling that was moving me in front of a garage door-type thing.

At this point I decided what was on my back was a rocket pack and I willed the door in front of me to open. I squeezed the grips in my hands which had buttons on the otherside of each one to accelerate, and I went ZOOMING as fast as can be outside into this town and down the street. I was probably going a good 100 mph on the street. Then I wanted to shoot things, so I used my thumbs to hit the triggers on each grip and went around shooting buildings and people. The thing is it did not look like real life. It looked like a video game. All the colors were video gamish, and the shading was a little artificial, which hinted that this was some video game, but the graphics were INCREDIBLE! Anyway I went zooming through this town on my rocket pack, roaring along and shooting things which would blow up. My only regret is that I didn't make the explosions and the "lasers" more visible, because mostly the objects would just move and get shot around, not really epic.

Anyhow, I had a really awesome time with this. This is the first time I've used anything like a rocket pack and the first time I've shot things in a dream. Hopefully when I go back to sleep tonight the dream police don't chase me down and arrest me for all the damage I caused :P
