Wondering if anybody has has a similar experience

Hello fellow dreamers, I'm new here and hope to get some questions answered.

Basically, I've had a very strong experience a couple of weeks back I don't remember what the dream itself was about anymore
but it's not that important. What is important however is how it all happened.
Now I'll admit I was really tired after weeks of being sleep deprived and that night I fell asleep the moment my head hit the pillow, which happens
like almost never (usually I can't fall asleep for 1-2 hours).
Now the very weird thing that happened was that I was sucked into this dream and I remember trying my best to get out of it because I was
getting seizures from it. And I would succeed for a couple of seconds and then dream would just suck me back in and I would get the seizure
feeling again. This went on for 10-20 minutes and I was absolutely terrified because my lucid experiences before were never scary and I never wake up from
nightmares, I just continue "watching". So I don't know, was very weird and I wonder if anybody has ever experienced something similar?
