An LD experience

Hey everyone. I posted on here a couple months ago and because of work I sort of gave up on LDing. I've had a few short LDs since then and a couple weeks ago decided to try it again.

Anyways, last night I had a dream that my friend stole some uncut diamonds and a chair from Pizza Hut (pretty weird). After this everything got a little hazy. Im not too sure what happened. All I know is I either woke up and fell back asleep quickly or I had a false awakening. I heard this wooshing sound, similar to when your in a car and another car goes by you. I also heard the fan in my room going. My eyes were still closed and I decided to try a new RC. I have this strange ability to sort of pop my ears. I wanted to try this because it doesnt take too much movement or effort. When I did it, it just felt a little different so I decided to open my eyes. I looked at my roommates monitor and it quickly shut off. Everything felt pretty normal though. I could hear the fan going and felt my covers. I decided to do the nose RC and to my suprise it actually worked. I rolled up out of bed and decided to look at my hands. They dissappeared and reappeared. Shortly after this I woke up :mad: . Oh well, maybe next time. Just thought I'd share this with you guys and girls.

and thank you for sharing this experience with us. I also get very excited when something new or unexpected happens in my dreams, but those moments are perfect to start a lucid dream, just as you did. The next time you see your hands disappear and reappear you will know that it's a lucid dream and you will stay calm! Try to add this RC to your daily routine. Maybe do it everytime you get out of bed?
