After waking up about 4:30 this morning, I experienced difficulty falling back asleep. Eventually I lay in one place without moving for a long period of time, and began to experience auditory hallucinations and jumbles of incoherent thoughts, but was still semi-conscious. Shortly after this, I began experiencing interesting dream imagery, followed by full blown lucid dreams. The most vivid was one in which I was listening to a well-known sports talk show host, only he was speaking about something that he was about to do that he did in the past, indicating that I was in a dream environment that took place about 15-20 years ago. I was listening to this while standing in my garage, although the garage was somewhat different--not physically, but the environment just seemed more euphoric in general. Soon, in this euphoric garage dream environment (lol) I began to hear the song Scar Tissue by Red Hot Chili Peppers. Here is a link to the song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ROVQwiFMTx4

After this, I experienced the music transition into a brand new melody, something I had never heard before but was very beautiful music. After this, I left the garage and walked into the front yard and street area. The sun was shining and the trees were in full bloom with flowers. People were driving by on the street; the traffic was pretty heavy. I won't get into the details of the end of the dream, as they are somewhat inappropriate In any case, that was my experience this morning. So this has to be one of my coolest lucid experiences ever. To be clear, I DO NOT take drugs and never have. The interesting thing is that I have not thought about lucid dreaming at all during the past week, and not much during the past month. I have been thinking a lot more deeply about things in general lately though, so maybe that triggered it.
