      OBE out of a FA?

Hi, this is my first real post but I had this LD last night that felt so weird I wanted to check and see if anyone else had experienced something similar. A little back story: I have only been working on this for about a month and had roughly 6-7 LDs so I have no idea if this is common.

At about 4:30 I attempted a wild unsuccessfully. Afterward I tried to just fall asleep using the mnemonic "I am dreaming".
I woke up some point after that and realized music was playing from my computer, after turning it off, I went back to my bed. This is where it gets weird. That was actually a FA because no music could have been playing from my computer! Once I got back into bed (in my FA) I visualized me running toward a wall (still aware of my physical body) and jumped through the wall it "filtered my body". When I did, I felt my body splitting in half and my "dream/astral" body separated from my sleeping body and I was able to get out of my bed and see myself sleeping. After that point it turned into a pretty normal LD (I had sex while flying— def new experience, lol).

My question is this. Has anyone else experienced a OBE from a FA/ an LD from a dream?

P.s I experienced something similar in the past but it didn't have the OBE aspect.

Yes I have experienced things similar several times, in fact my last WILD started with a false awakening. After some 30 minutes of the rope method I 'woke up' and there was this grey cat in my room, but I thought I had made sure all of the windows and doors were shut. I lost consciousness for a moment and then had another false awakening, this time I sensed a very creepy presence in the corner of the room, but when I looked I didn't see anything. This constituted a lapse of awareness or memory on my part, if I was fully aware I would have recognised how ridicules these things were, there visual clarity tricked me into thinking it was real while they were occurring. Eventually I came to my senses and continued doing the rope technique (which was actually unnecessary because the dream was already underway, another example of me being taken by the realism of the false awakening.), when I felt myself floating upward I knew I was fare enough in the dream state to get up on my own accord, jumped out the window and started the lucid dream. I knew my focus was still wavering when I was walking around outside, so I repeated to myself "I'm dreaming" over and over and rubbed my hands together, after doing this my awareness was fine.

Yes this is pretty common. you can intentionally or unintentionally WILD or do any other lucid dreaming induction IN a dream and get a lvl deeper (similar to inception without the hollywood effect)
Sensei regulary lays down in his dreams and wILDS so he get a higher awareness lucid from it when he "wakes up" in the dreamrealm.

another example is here : ULTRA-INCEPTION: ToTM Done ~ Over 15 FAs, 10 lucids and non lucids in one single dream - Dream Journals - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views

there are some more but i dont find the good once now^^

Yes I have done this many times. Just 2 days ago I woke up and saw my cat, then I relised that he wasn't supposed to be there cause I wasn't at home. I get lucid but after a while the dream cut and I found myself in the bed again. I intentionally split up with my body and had a lucid dream. Did it several times that morning. Usually I experience the feel of dividing however I've never seen my sleeping body.

Thanks for the responses! It seems like it is pretty common to LD in an LD or FA... it seemed so strange! lol
