      Interesting way to teleport

So, I've been trying to lucid dream for quite some time. Lately, I've been trying something new — a hypnosis video that I listen to every night — and my dreams have been so much more realistic and lucid. After having no lucid dreams for an entire year, suddenly I'm having three a week.

But! During these dreams, my dream control has been... shabby, at best. When the ability to summon a pen from thin air is exciting, you know you've got a lot of work to do. Anyway! There's one thing I've been able to do without any trouble whatsoever, and it was a pretty cool technique, so I figured I'd share? Maybe this'll help someone else, who knows?

So, a few dreams ago, I became lucid when I realized that I was in my childhood home (which I'd moved out of when I was 11). I knew where I wanted to go in the dream — to a place that I'd gone to in my very first (and the most vivid, to date) lucid dream, a library called the Library of Eden — but I couldn't figure out how to get there. My brother walked up to me and handed me a piece of chalk, and instructed me to draw a door on the wall.

I grasped at the little circular doorknob I'd drawn, and suddenly the wall caved in, revealing the Library right behind it. For someone who's only ever been able to summon small objects in lucid dreams before, this was huge.

Even in the first dream I tried this in, where my lucidity was shaky at best and I could barely even think straight, it worked absolutely perfectly. And it's worked in every single dream since then, no matter how lucid I am (or, in my case, how not lucid I am; most of the time, I'm not very lucid) so I figured I'd share. I thought it was pretty cool.

      What hypnosis video is it?
Also, do you do anything else besides watching the video? (e.g. meditation, MILD, autosuggestion, etc.)

I haven't had a lucid dream yet that I remember. However, I do remember being lucid in a dream, just not what I did in the dream.

This technique sounds like it is directly out of a cartoon... Makes me understand why I want to have lucid dreams.. ya know?

      Best,
      Glen

I use two different ones, switching off every so often. Most often, I use UltraHypnosis (I cannot post links yet, as I've just joined, but it's the one with a runtime of 16:25; just search Lucid Dreaming Hypnosis Ultrahypnosis on youtube and you should be able to find it!), but sometimes I use Moments of Magic (the video title is "Lucid Dreaming Hypnosis - take control of your vivid dreams. I found it by searching "lucid dreaming hypnosis short" as I was running short on time when I first looked for it).

I've been listening to these nightly, plus doing reality checks, practicing ADA, and occasionally doing meditation. The videos have worked wonders towards giving me lucidity; the other night I had a dream where I was so lucid it almost felt like waking life!

The technique is actually a lot of fun to do! It was absolutely mindblowing the first time I did it when a regular wall opened up to reveal my library behind it. I hope it works out for you too! And I hope you have a good lucid dream soon!

      Sweet dreams!

      Thanks for the info!

I know this sounds weird, but how do you listen to the videos? What do you think/do while you listen/watch them?

((Sorry for the long wait for my response, fam! I've been busy...))

Normally, I either lay down in bed or sit in a meditative pose and just... listen. I empty my mind as much as possible and allow the hypnosis to relax my body. I've downloaded both tracks to my mp3 player, and sometimes I just listen to them in the background while I'm going about my day, as well.

      Sweet Dreams!
