Trying to have experiences I've never had before, but it doesn't quite work.

Because I can't comprehend how that experience would be I guess!

I dream about floating in space a lot, I would say nearly half of my lucid dreams involves space of some kind. I see planets and I just want to go visit them! But the sheer size of space is something I cannot comprehend. The planets just turn into large beach ball things I cannot go visit, I end up just bumping into them as if they weren't planets at all. I've tried falling into earth several times but I end up just falling into nothing because I don't have an understanding of objects that are so big!

Anyone have any tips/ baby-steps I could take to eventually land on these mysterious planets?

Have you tried traveling from Earth to space? If you travel from Earth to space and back to Earth, you might have a better idea of what it is like to approach a planet.

Another thing you could try is to find a planet, note the color of the atmosphere of the planet, turn away from the planet, and imagine the sky turning from black to the color of the atmosphere of the planet, as if you are entering the planet's atmosphere. Once you enter the atmosphere of the planet, you should be able to land on it.

My tip would be for you to stop trying to move/fly. Instead think "I want to teleport there now" or "I want to be there now!" This way you are doing less locomotioning and doing actual being there.

That could work as well, but then it takes away the fun of flying I'll try it some night if the other suggestions don't work, whatever it takes to have the best dream! Thanks for the help, I feel like coming back here was way better than asking inexperienced people over on other websites.
