Last night I went to bed thinking about lucid dreams and endded up having a dream about them. I even talked to a DC about lucid dreaming, I belive what I said to him was "you'll be sorry when this dream turns lucid". But I never figured out that I was dreaming even after saying that. I must really be out of practice!
Yea I had that a week ago or so..... don't worry, you're not the only one ^^
Happens to me almost on nightly basis. It's like the dreaming-me realises he's dreaming, but i don't click into it. I guess it's just an indication that i'm almost there. It's not really frustrating, it's a good experience. I thought it was rather entertaining that i'm dreaming about myself, where he(me) realises it's a dream.
Sometimes i even wake up and have a few laughs. Like the other night (don't ask me how, i don't remember) i was in a swimming pool (now, we're talking a proper swimming pool) and for some reason i went underwater. I could breathe and found it very cool. Then i made the water turn different colors. This did NOT make me lucid, however the in-dream me somewhat knew he was in control of certain things. I found it rather funny. So i sat in my bed kicking myself for being so silly while having a giggle
lol. yea Ive had something similar to this, my dream self looks at his hands then pokes a finger on one hand through the other, intended as a reality check, his finger goes through the hand and the dream it still non lucid!
