do i have natural ability

Morning All, since I experiances a vivid awareness a couple of nights ago, I have reseached everything on this site and others and am facinated by what I have read. So last night I told myself ove and over before falling asleep to wake up and remember the dreams, (my attempt at my 1st dream recall). To my amazment I remembered at least 3 dreams in details with over a 20 main events written down, I was shocked it had worked so quickly, and am going to continue in my development. I dont know if it means much but about 10 years ago I was going out with a girl, we broke up and I had a dream that on November 5th we would get back together, I told her this, anyway 6 months passed I went to the fireworks and to my amazement after a chance meeting with over 20000 peopl there we ended up back together, I turned round to her and said I told you so, I had dreamt this would happen. Also about 5 years ago I was experimenting with what I thought was a silly game of trying to move a glass with your mind and a hex shaped mat awith candles at each point, anyway 4 of my friends were shocked when I not only moved the glass but pushed it of the table when my hands were a foot away from the glass. Do I posses a very acute mind to achieve lucid dreaming at an accelereated rate, or is this all coinsidental. :mad:

It seems to me that since you have such vivid dream content and great recall that it should be easier for you to lucid dream than most. I also share your gift in this.

However....It can sometimes be a hinderance.

Having such great dreams can fully engage the mind. That is, you get so wrapped up in the dream that is unfolding that you accept it as total reality and never think to question that you are dreaming.
