I think the point of "lucid dating" isn't to actually try and find that person in some sort of connected dream world but to simply create a dream character based on the dates picture and comments.

Exactly, and the dream character they create based on the dates, picture, and comments is a manifestation of ego that is then projected into the dreamscape searching for a false image.

Think of it like phone sex. The models in the add and the imagined images are nothing like the reality of the two people actually participating in the act. rofl.

I fully support any attempts at Lucidity,

but I'm saying a lot of times it's not what it seems, and dream karma is sensitive.

Just talkin about the probable odds of actually taking it further.
To feel true passion from another in Lucidity is far more complex.
Thought it needed to be said, as I am sure we have all made some reckless mistakes.

I like how you break down dreaming in a psychological sense it helps when trying to understand what is going on in dreams in a more logical way. You mentioned dream karma what do you mean by dream karma I am very interested, also do you mean Karma in the western view point or in its original description.

Dream Karma works like everyday karma.
I am from colorado, so my definition is western, but I study Tao, Buddism, Tau, and various other acient tribal understandings of the give & take of the universe.

Simply, for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. =D

I don't accept good and bad... it's more like opposing desires, like the Dharmakya.
You act greedy in one dream, you have another (possibly seconds later) where you feel the desire of need and get nothing.

The world of dreams teaches us lessons. It is not that we have good or bad dreams, it is that they are messages and lessons.

Also, Dream karma and waking life karma may be the same. The things you do during the day, the ways you act, these seem to reflect in dreams as well.

This is why people are most likely not meeting eachother in dreams, they are more likely to meet hollographic images of their desires the reall people. Most people believe what they think is real so vividly, that they create their own entire reality inside of dreams and are so egotistic (as I have been for many years) that they don't even know they are interacting with themselves. Most manipulate their dreams so fiercely that they have no idea it cuts them off from contact with other people.

So that is my take on the "karma" of dreams. I just believe that it all comes back around. This life has irony and coincidence, our dreams do as well.

Here is the description of karma that I try to follow its a little bit diffrent. In Buddhist teaching, the law of karma, says only this: &#96;for every event that occurs, there will follow another event whose existence was caused by the first, and this second event will be pleasant or unpleasant according as its cause was skillful or unskillful.' A skillful event is one that is not accompanied by craving, resistance or delusions; an unskillful event is one that is accompanied by any one of those things. (Events are not skillful in themselves, but are so called only in virtue of the mental events that occur with them.)
