First LD in a good long time

eh I haven't posted here in a long time what with school being what it is... i'd like to get into this again but it's too hard balancing all advanced classes plus a college class in high school, guitar, other things, and this. Anyway, my recall certainly isn't what it used to be since i haven't written in my dream journal for who knows how long, but i had a lucid not too long ago and i'm bored now so i'll write down what i remember of it.

Ok... well, like a majority of my lucids, i randomly realized i was dreaming. So... i was in the big house and right when i became lucid i walked into another room and it everything started turning black (this is a characteristic of almost all my LD's right after realizing i'm dreaming) so I began to say "stay calm... clear up... stay focused" Well eventually it cleared up and i believe i began walking around the house, but this section was a bit of a blur since i never work on my recall now...

So after that section of not remembering the dream, i was in a room with my friend chris. he was sitting down or something and i was floating around the room as if i was in space and there was no gravity. I was like... i wouldn't call it hitting cause i wasn't doing this in an angry way but punching him softly or something while i was floating around. i don't remember how long that went on for but then there was another section i don't remember.

Ok well after that little section of who knows what, i'm on top of a high building. I saw my friend francis down on the ground so i jumped off the edge and began to fly down toward him. He saw me and began to fly up toward me and we hit each other in mid air. I stabalized myself before hitting the ground. We may have continued to "mid air battle" but i'm not quite sure

Next thing i remember I'm on the ground flat and I can't move at all. I can't open my eyes either. This was incredibly frustrating because i knew i was dreaming, and i can almost always pull myself out of dreams and wake myself up even in non lucids, but for some reason i couldn't here. It was really horrible cause i knew i was dreaming, I couldn't move at all or open my eyes, and i couldn't wake myself up. Eventually i attempted to exert enough force that it woke me up.

So that was my lucid, the first in a long long time. It was pretty dumb but better than not having one.
