Yes, it qualifies as a lucid dream. |

This is kind of weird. Last night, I think I had a lucid dream within a dream. What happened was, while I was dreaming (non-lucidly), I might have gone to sleep. Then I started having a "dream" within my dream where I was aware that I was dreaming. And it was very strange.... I felt just like myself, as if I was awake. I was telling myself "I will not wake up now," and stuff like that over and over, because I wanted to prolong it. I was being calm and everything and didn't want it to end. (Sadly, I did not record this dream when I actually woke up, so I only remember bits and pieces.) I faintly remember I was following someone around. Then, I "woke up" back into my old dream. At least, that's how I think it happened. |

It is amazing how many ways the mind can find to amaze us! Congrats on a cool experience! |

I had a similar experience two days ago. I went to sleep in my old room, and my dream self had several lucid dreams. I didn't have any control, though. It was more a dream about lucid dreaming than actual lucid dreaming, but boy was I confused when I woke up . The best part about this, though, was that my dream self actually did a mirror RC inside this dream. I have never done the mirror RC before, but I knew of it, and now I know what to look for if I use it. |
