Dream #2 the dream police.

Upon waking up from this dream http://www.dreamviews.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2009 , I've decided to try WILD again. This time I took a tiny portion of caffeine pill, and 1 chocolate candy. I've failed WILD, but before falling asleep, I told myself, that my next dream will be an ending for the first one. Sure enough It was - I remember up to few days of events, which are very hazy. Such as meeting their family, friends, etc. Minor occurences and things. Suddenly I've found myself and my new relatives in some kind of a house. Memory of that is extremely hazy, and it escapes me. What I do remember is - we are having a HUGE argument. Conflict escalates to fight. It's not just me vs them, it's conflict between everybody. I dont remember how it started, but I hope I will recall taht. Fight escalates. It's total chaos. Suddenly I found myself using LD powers. I pull out a handgun or a weapon, and [dont remember what happened. I guess I've killed her father and brother]. Upon killing them, feeling of anxiety overcomes me. I know, Police, or "Dream Police" is gonna arrive soon. So I ran out, and concealed me in nearby trees. It's evening now. I see soldiers, running into the crime scene. They are heavy armed. They are looking for me. It disturbs me. But I feel that I have supernatural LD powers. So I say I'm invisible, and have invisible silenced sniper rifle. I start killing soldiers from a distance. I go for headshot. But sometimes I mess, and it takes up to 3 bullets per guy. I all soldiers, seeking cover, crawling on the floor. I just pick the out one after another. Suddenly I feel an RPG is about to hit me. Sure it is. Somehow I've lost my invisiblity, and they are shooting at me now. I'm flying/jumping at nearby balcony and try to hide. They are gathering below. I say "Gravity is too strong for them to throw a grenade here". And sure enough it is. But they are smart. They found soem way to get me. Just as they are about to get me, I perform a "super jump" again, and running like hell from them. HERE is the whole thing starts. I escape from them through parking lots, yards, etc etc. It's me and my super powers vs them. I can read their minds. They seem to know my every step. I keep running, but they know my every step. I'm running through the snow, and imagining all kinds of tricks. It goes on for about a day. (feels like day).

{sorry, for such a lengthy post. I know how difficult and time consuming it is to read such topics. That's why I've shortened my dream as much as I can, ommiting some details.} But the whole purpose of my post is - I've encountered dream police twice so far. Every time I commit a crime in a dream world, and there are witnesses, I know they are gonna arrive. The thing about this dream was: This guys were totally independent from my mind. They knew how to catch dreamers wiht superpowers. they could predict my every step. I could read their mind, and use superpowers against them, but it couldnt stop them... Anybody else encountered something like this?

Wow Ev, Comments on Dream #1: This is a tough one. Marriage? Are you negotiating a contract in your life right now? Making a commitment to yourself in some way perhaps? Think of what marriage means to you. Maybe getting involved in something new that will be a part of your life but you don't know or can't predict the outcome (hence the faceless bride). Gay marriage? Are you merging or accepting both the masculine and feminine side of your soul? It was a joke in your dream though.. so you are having fun with this "new contract... marriage....merging a new side of yourself... more are waiting to do the same and you embrace them as your new family.... you woke up and decided to go back to see more in your dream then..... there's drama ahead.... Comments on Dream #2 Police: the represent justice or helpers. I've dreamt of police plenty of times, but it's usually to help me not to get me. Do you feel guilty over something and feel that something is going to get you because of perhaps a guilty pleasure...something? Are you battling something/someone in your life who knows you really well, so much so that you can't pull the wool over their eyes (so to speak). Maybe an equal? Someone as strong as you and thus you are challenged to put out all you got in order to win a battle/fight/wish fullfilment or desire???? Because I didn't really see a conclusion in your dream I suspect that you will have this kind of dream again but perhaps the story will be told differently. It's obvious that there's some issues going on in your life (don't know how big or small as dreams tend to over do things, and for good reason because dreams want to get your attention so that's why small problems in real life can come through in dreams as huge drama stories, but again, it's because your subconsciouse mind is trying to get your attention). My advice: Next time you are dreaming and you come across this theme again (the battle that is, not the marriage), try not to become lucid and let the dream story tell you what you need to pay attention to so that you can resolve the issue at hand. Once you do, you'll notice that the dream will have a more of a conclusion (and hopefully a good one). I know this isn't much as I don't really know you. The normal marriage was real, the gay marriage was a joke for the cameras. I'm not making any contracts now, so why this theme appeared is a mystery to me. In battle scene, I wasnt lucid, but my dreamself manipulated dream energies, and made few awesome tricks. Dream ended with me still running... Police appears in my dream, every time I do something wrong. And I'm running from it.... So far I had at least 4 dreams, in which I was running from police... (even tho I'm a totally lawful guy)...

A few weeks ago I dreamt I killed someone, in a mafia or something, and the 'dream police' were after me, too. It was night, and I was hiding under a hedge, hoping they wouldn't see me. I wonder what would happen if the dream police actually caught someone? If they're actually independant from our minds who knows?

Ev, Ya but why the police then? Guilty consciouse? Did you make a promise to someone and didn't keep it (marriage is like a promise, a promise to share your life, to share your love, to share your space, to share a business deal, you get the idea) Did you tell somebody something that may be you said it as a joke but the person or persons didn't think it was funny but may be they didn't want to say anything to you (hence the gay marriage that was a joke to your friends in your dream) and now your subconciouse mind is showing you that in your dream (cops coming to get you, justice coming to get you after you did something bad). Remember, your dream is trying to get your attention to a matter in your waking life. You will be running in your dreams until that issue is resolved. Just think about it for a minute.

Ah I was just reading my dream journal and I remembered the dream I had this morning! I had been falsely accused and was being chased by the dream police on the freeway, but I managed to lose them. I ditched out of my car, and ran up a steep sand embankment into the forest. However, the dream army guys were tracking me, so I hid in a pine and waited for one to pass. I jumped and knocked him over, but we struggled for around a minute before I finally slid my hunting knife into his chest. He was still alive, choking on the ground, so I threw his knife into his throat for good measure. The dream ended with me and another guy running into a building being shot at by army guys with automatic weapons.

Not at all. I encounter dream police, every time I commit a crime in a dream world. So far I remember 2 murders and robbery (even tho I'm perfectly lawful guy). And they arrive almost immidiately at the crime scene. At first I just ignored them, but now I see that trend continues. So I made a topic about it...

thats odd...last night i was dreaming and i was a police officer and we were trying to evacuate some area cause there was a 'renegade' around and we had to get the people away cause they might get hurt...the guy never showed up, and eventually i became lucid and killed the cops but it was wierd cause they kept talking about some guy who was way powerful who might come thru that area so we had to get all the people out...when you were running from the cops, were there any people? i mean after they started chasing you, did you ever run thru, jump over crowds or anything?

And police had a very strong and smart leader, he had a mind, not unlike the soldiers.. maybe it was you? can you PM me and describe setting and scenery? PS. That really strikes me as odd, cause I could feel his mind, and he could feel mine...

Ok, here's the plan: 1) I'm becoming lucid with strong intentions to appear in very populated area, with people around. 2) I'm summoning some automatic weaponry for myself. 3) I'm summoning a bunch of bad guys. 4) I dispatch of them, and wait for dream police to arrive. 5) Give myself up. Or: 1) Imagine myself next to bank 2) summon automatic weaponry (heh, I love it) 3) assault the bank 4) take currency 5) wait outside. I'm sure first plan will work, and the 2nd will be a backup... 8) I know it may be the worst application for LD's but I have to find out.

Commit the crime, gotta do the time.... why are you guys killing anywaze? Why not build things or become a superstar hero or something...then you won't have to run or escape, unless you feel it's worth it .. meaning the fun in killing and destroying is worth the running from the police (or maybe you find that fun too?). Blissful[/b] Sometimes in my dreams, my "dark side" is acting, which makes me commit crimes. It's not fun, it's just a part of the dream. I've found a way to test, if dream police is just a creation of my mind in response to "bad" actions, or it's somewhat real and it protects dream world I'm gonna "play terrorist" that is imagine me AK 47, and start shooting in the air in some crowded place in my dream. I know my intentions are not hostile, but *if* there is some kind of independent dream police, they will interpret this act as hostile...

I dont know of something like a "dream police" like the cops over here, but there is always a small chance you mess with the wrong things and thats much worse then any police force. Chances this happens are minimal figuring you are staying within your own litle bubble of the astral(I draw that conclusion because you are mostly in control)
