When ever I try to be lucid I am never able to dream I am always held on the cusp of sleep and being awake. If I concentrate to hard I end up becoming more awake, but if I don't concentrate hard enough I am end up going to deep to fast :|

When are you trying to to this? First thing at night or late in the night?
If it is first thing, then stop and try again after about 5 hours of sleep.
If it is later in the night, then maybe limit your attempts to every other night. Sometimes attaining lucidity works best when you don't try so hard. Strange, but often true.
I have a hard time relaxing and concentrating on dreaming. I always either fall completely into a dream, or I can't even get to sleep. I have a lot of stress in my life right now, so i'm not to sure if right now is a good time to even try to have a lucid dream. I also share a bed with a man who snores. ugggg. :eek:

Do alot of reality checks during the day, and read up on some
of the tutorial info before bed. Just go to sleep as usual and see what
happens. If you try too hard you'll just get frustrated and further from your goal.
I've found that being prepared for a lucid is as important as attaining lucidity.
I lucid naturally but not very often. When I do, the preparations I've made
mentally always pay off.
