Weird thing writting in my sleep and didn't know it!

Really weird. By my bed i have a night stand where i keep random things sometimes. Last night i was dreaming can't really remeber what it was about. taking a break from ld and woke up in a sweat. Once fully awake i was walking to use the bathroom and noticed a pen in my hand! I was like wtf? put my pen down on the nightstand i saw i drew crazy symbols on a peace of paper. A sun, an eye, figure 8, a cresant moon, and a pyramid. These drawling were really messy but reconizable. Any one else ever done this?

So you drew the symbols in your dream or were you awake but not aware?

I don't remember drawling those at all but i don't know could have been barley awake and done it i'm not rally sure. I keep a dream journal and write in it. but this was on a random piece of paper trash just sitting on my nightstand.

I've never experienced anything like that but it would be extremely interesting to see things that your subconscious wrote on paper!

Sounds like a case of either sleep walking or bad memory.

I'm waiting for my friend to bring over her digital camera so you all can see. Check later on tonight if not the next morning. No i belong to no cults. very funny hardy har har. :D Don't consider myself a religous person not really sure what to believe in yet. I don't sleep walk ever if i had my husband would have told me by now. :P Maybe it is bad memory? All i know is i don't remember what so ever drawling those things. Weird i know but i kinda think its cool so i think i'll save it in my dream journal at home. hopefully i can get my girlfriend to get her damn digital to me so i can share with you guys. :-P

Yeah, I DEFINETLY think it was that you woke up, draw some symbols, and went back to sleep. You'd be surprised how much your mind can forget. One time when there was a lunar eclipse at like 2 in the morning my dad woke me up and all I remember was not wanting to see it that much and I looked and I'm like "k that's cool bed now." I pretty much completely forgot even going downstairs. Also, sometimes I believe I've fallen asleep on the couch downstairs and I woke up on my bed upstairs (not a result of being carried, by the way :P). And especially considering all you did was write stuff, you probably just forgot.

Ya know what Ataraxis? I've seen a lot of your responses to other peoples posts and you really do seem like the negitve type. Your probally right though.. i most likely barley freaking awake drew those things. So what ......It's not like i'm proclaiming i have super human abillities or some shit. I posted this topic because it was alarming to me when i finally came to, and wanted to share it with people who cared some what. I thought it was kinda interesting. No hard feelings toward you though what so ever i know your just trying to keep it real. :D

Anyway, the 8 might refer to infinity. It are all things with a meaning... spiritually or something. Not like you drew a chair or a dog or something. :D

What the fuck are you talking about. First of all, me being a "negative type" has nothing to do with this. Second of all, I never said you were proclaiming to have super human abilities. Actually, that wasn't remotely part of the discussion until you brought it up. I never bashed you for posting this. I don't know what's your problem... there was no hostility or negative feelings until you felt like accusing me of things (indirectly).

Similar things have happened to me, such as, waking up with things written backwards across my chest, and written backwards on notepads that I had open beside my bed. It happened while I was asleep, I'm sure of it. Most people write it off as I just don't remember doing it. However, I am confident that my dream conciousness overode my sleep paralysis to communicate these things. Symbols, or words that it wanted to tell me.

At any rate, I think you should pay close attention to these symbols, maybe try and find how they relate to your life, or your past. And definitely keep an eye out for them in dreams.

There was no "flame." I was simply expressing my opinion that your mind can really blot out a lot of your memories. Seriously, it's not like I'm saying 'LOL STOOPID STFU'. By saying be "positive" what do you mean? I"m not being "negative", nor positive, simply neutral.

I've never drawn any symbols in my dream journal, though there are a whole bunch of jumbled, incomprehensible dribble that i wrote down and didn't remember writing the next morning. I knew what it meant when i was writing it, but my handwriting is REALLY sloppy in the middle of the night, expecially when i'm writing on my bed.

For one thing, I did not see any hostility, anger, or annoyance in ataraxis' first post.
Back on topic though, I agree about the symbols being written during a dream, but I doubt they are important. I have woken up thousands of times to remember some all-powerful wisdom from a dream only to realize it's nonsense. For some reason, in dreams meaningless things seem important.

You people all gang up on Ataraxis just because he doesnt think about everything like you do, he posted a completely logical post and gets bashed for it, he was in no way negative, and most likely, he was right

Ive done alot of things when Ive been woken up during the night that I dont remember, like someone else said, I've actually had an experience where my dad woke me up in the night to watch some shooting stars and I don't even remember it, and also I have reported to get out of bed and tell my parents that I am waking up, or somethine like that, and I dont remember it.
Or If I am tired during the day, I can fall asleep in my parents bed, and wake up in the morning and be in my bed, they say I got up, and said I was goign to my room and that I was awake
