      Dying in dreams

Ive died a few times in dreams never in LDs . The weirdest and best death was wen a nucleur bomb landed nearby. It felt so real. In a normal dream once i had this dream where my cheek was hurting and the course of it was i fell asleep with my ear muffs on.
Has anyone ever experienced pain in a dream theyve had in real life?

Dying in dream may indicate that one is undergoing great changes and transformation in life. It is as if an old aspect of self is dying to make way for a new one.

In every normal dream that I remember I die. I must have been killed in every possible way. A dream I had two days ago I was poisoned. Last night I was shot. And in every dream it felt real.

Yeah, I've had some pretty interesting death experiences.

Never died in a dream yet. Always get a bunch of close calls though.
I have felt pain once in a non-lucid dream. I stuck my hand in a plasma reactor. Burned a lot.
My sister's told me of a bunch of non-lucid dreams where she dies. She says that she sees this white flash and then wakes up.

In my non lucid dreams I've never died. I would usually wake up in the past. I had a reacurring dream where I was falling and I would always waken before hitting bottom . I eventually pushed through and refused to wake up. I just bounced after I hit bottom . I have felt pain in my dreams or what I interpreted as pain. I've had my hand bitten in a dream before, I could feel the teath bitting down. I had a dream months ago where I was coughing up hunks and shards of metal, that hurt and tasted terrible. In my non lucid dreams lately I've been experiencing more of a physical world. I felt my leg muscles working, felt cold winter air as I was breathing.

It is surprising that when most people discuss what dying in a dream 'means' they miss the obvious, and that is, that if one can manage to die in a dream, and not wake up soon afterwards, but stay in the dream for another 20 seconds or so, then one finds that one will come back to life. The 'meaning' of this is that one will develop an insight into one's Dream Immortality and will acquire an intuitive Courage and Fearlessness.

I'm immortal in all of my dreams - in one way or another. Mostly my body is indestructible, but I have had it destroyed once, but I left it and made myself a new one immediately. I have never died for real in a dream.

I have died in a dream once, but I was in a first person shooter at the time, so I just respawned at my last "checkpoint" and tried again.

Other than that, I can't remember ever dying in a dream, or even imagine it for that matter.

I know this sounds unusual, but one of the best dreams I've had in a while, I died in. Someone shot me right in the head and I fell down, it didn't hurt at all.

As far as dream pain relating to physical pain...my limbs fall asleep a lot and then, as a result, I tend to imagine something crazy happening to them in the dream. Eventually the pain wakes me up though.

Same here, also have almost been killed in every possible way
Only difference with me is, I experience emotion and feelings in dreams >_>
(not like they're supposed to feel, but still)

It sucked, once I got shot down and then my whole body started going stiff and a bit swollen and electric shocks went through it all over my body.

When I woke up the feeling remained for 10 minutes.

Electrocution makes my muscles tense, and blood tastes like blood >.<

But whatever, I don't really care since they aren't nightmares to me.
