      Problems with False Awakenings

As i have mentioned it was the false awakening that enabled me to start to take control of my dreams and it was only fear that held me back.

I would wake in an false awaking and I would usualy force a wake up, i used to think (very low lucidity now i understand it more) this is not real i am asleep and sometimes wake up screaming as i am waking myself up.

One time i woke up in a false awakening, and i deciced i would let it continue to see what happens (face my fear so to speak), so i did and i felt myself leave my body and it was as if a magical force was taking me away, I started to allow this then got fearfull and held on for dear life.. I guess this was the true first ld dream with no full control as i struggled to awake from this one.

I often wonder what i would of seen if i allowed myself to continue. I just thought i was not going to come back and that scared me.

i used to have a problem of false awkenings. But i was when i was in a nightmare that i couldnt control. I had the ability to get out of the them, which is part lucid dreaming i guess and then wake. I starting getting up, thinking "thank god im awake" and then the thing would crash threw my window. and then i would wake up.

Also i used to have a problem of been unable to get out of the nightmare. This was mostly when i was younger. Meaning i was unable to awake, i was lucid. Knew i was in a dream but couldnt control it. I really wanted to get out. I have dream controled i few times however its more the case with me thats its lucid and i cant control it.
