Thread: I think it was my first LD

I beleive that today i had my first LD, since i joined the site...

I was on a snowboard somewhere, and there wasn't any snow. I went down once, and suddenly i decided (i think i got in control here) to run back up the hill. Which i did at a very good speed, with the board still attched to my feet. Once on top again, there was this really high wall and i made myself jump really high to grind it. Went down the moutain again......then it finished and couldn't go back to it again, i woke up. It felt very real the whole situation.

Did you actually KNOW you were dreaming at any point during the dream? If so, you certainly did have an LD.

There is a difference between being able to control a dream, and being lucid. You can do one without the other. Having good control is definitely a benefit, so when you do become lucid, you already know how to change things.

I do remember that i felt amazing that i could do that, but to be honest I don't think that i realized it was a dream.
