      fake lucid dream?

      ive been trying halfheartedly to learn to lucid dream and a while back i think i *dreamt* i was lucid dreaming - does this count ?

      Answer? It depends.
      First of all it means your getting closer.
      The big question is were you aware that you were dreaming? Because that would be the basic technical definition of a lucid dream.

      well then technically, ive probably had 3 or 4 but i didnt count them as i wasnt actually controlling anything

      Dream Journal

      It can be a very fuzzy distinction. I have had dreams where someone told me "you are dreaming". But I don't remember one occurance where I told myself I was dreaming. They happen by accident and at random.

      Just keep at what you are doing and you will see results. I now typically remember 2-3 dreams per night. It is important that you start with a dream journal to document them, and you can assign a number 1-10 to your lucidity and realness of the dream just as Frosty Chaotix does.
