...begins with me false awakening in my bedroom. It usually begins with some feeling of paralysis, and somewhat of vibration, and after some struggle, I am able to stand and walk about my room. I know that It is not reality, because the room is changed, and the whole paralysis/vibration thing usually indicates lucid dreaming (?) to me. So, does this mean anything in particular? That my lucid dreams always begin with me waking up in my bedroom, in the spot I usually sleep...
To me that sounds alot like astral projection. There is paralisis, then a release. Some parts of the your places will be changed, i dont really want to go on to explain why unless you want me to.
Yes please, explain. I have a simple understanding of Astral Projection. I'd kind of like to know what it is... Isn't it just another Lucid Dream?
The astral plane is pretty much another plane of exsitance. So your not dreaming, your projection your astral body..pretty much your etheral energy into this astral plane. Everybody goes here when we sleep, we just dont remember it. You can astral project from a lucid dream, i have done that a few times by accident. I dont exactly remember how because i havnt practiced this stuff in a long time, my interest has started to return now.
The reason stuff in your room has changed is simply because the energy of other physical objects that used to be there still remains. After awhile those objects will dissapear and your room will start to look more like your room. But it takes a LONG TIME.
This is what i have learned in my studies of all of this. But everything is subjective so my explanations may be completely different from others so dont take my word for this lol.

When I WILD, this is exactly what happens. To find out if you are Astral Projecting, OBE or Lucid Dreaming, leave a book on your nightstand and find a specific passage in it when in that state. If the world is real, you will find it, will be able to turn away from it and back to it and it will be there and stable. If not, you are in an LD.
I was freaked out the first time this happened to me, exactly as you describe except I used WILD to get there. I did the test. It was and is a dream.
Yes, you're just in sleep paralysis although what you describe resembles what some consider as OBEs. Very neat trick to say that the energy of other objects exterts influence on the astral plane giving it an appearance different from real world. Anyway, it's just a dream.
Most of my early lucid dreams also began as false awakenings in my room--often my room would look pretty much identical to how it would appear in real life at the time (including the light level). I would often somehow know I was dreaming right at the beginning for no particular reason, or else discover I was dreaming after a few short moments.
After quite a few LDs, there seems to have been a shift towards having my LDs take place in lots of totally random places and me not always realizing I'm dreaming until somewhat later (so that quite a bit can take place before I become lucid). LDs don't take place in my room or as false awakenings so often anymore, although they occasionally still happen. I'm not sure wy the change took place, but it does make things more interesting.
I am another that can attest, I have started having lucid dreams (as I did when I was younger, before I smoked pot, and now I have quit, and my dream recall has returned)and I have only had 2 however in the last week, and both began with false awakenings in my bedroom. also both occurred after waking up, and being up for about a half hour then going back to sleep
That's exactly how I LD most of the time. I'll be in bed sleeping, and I feel the need to seperate from my "sleeping" self so I can go about my lucid business. It can be quite difficult too, but once i've seperated myself I can go around lucidly and do whatever I want.
I'm sure that happens to alot of people :)
These types of LDs also tend to be the most vivid and realistic to me.

I won't really believe in things like OBE until I'll have some Serius proof possibly on myself.
Also mind that believing in such things may make dreming stuff more tricky for nothing
it gave me a lot of useless trouble with DCs for example. Not worth I think...
