      BLISSFUL HAS HER FIRST WILD

      Yaaaaaaaa hoooooooooooooooooooooooo

Had lucid dreams before but never a WILD... I have to say thank you to every person on this board because of my first spookie experience, I have been on this site just about every day and have been participating more and more.... I get so many tips and tricks from reading the posts. And guess what... because of what I have learned from everybody here, I was able to do a WILD (and know that I was going into a WILD helped me to focus on it rather than freaking out).

One tip I got (and I can't recall if it was from Seri - where has he been lately anyway, or EV) was to sleep in an uncomfortable position AND another big one from Lowercase, the cutie, Society where he said he sets his alarm for 6:00 am so he can wake up and fall back to sleep. That sooo works dude!! I've been getting up at 6:30 a.m. every day this week (I'm on vacation from work) and I was just relaxing but I was on my tummy (my back hurts after a few minutes in this position but I stayed there because I didn't want to fall back to sleep as I needed to get my arss out of bed) and I slipped into a dream and in that dream, my body started to vibrate.. I then woke up and was still vibrating. I started to control the vibrations (speeding them up and slowing them down - can't recall if that advice came from Seeker or Lucius it was soo long ago - but once I realized that I was controlling the vibrational speed, but yet I was on my tummy rested but not asleep, that's when I said "EUREKA, I'M IN A PERFECT SITUATION FOR A WILD!!!!!"

So, I decided to go back into a dream with a mission to find what I think is my dream guide. I was running in my dream to hurry because I knew, based on the experiences I read on this board, that these things can be over fairly quickly especially when you are new to the process.. I then decided that walking fast wasn't fast enough so I flapped my arms to fly (and it was so easy to do, flying that is).... then I felt the power fading and I just woke up and documented the experience in my dream book.

aaaaaaahhhhh..... finally folks. Now, every morning when I don't have to go to work, I'm going to set my alarm for 6:30 a.m. and then I will nap on my tummy so my back will be uncomfortable (just so that I won't fall back to sleep hard).

I can't wait to do this again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have had lucid dreams before, but a WILD is very very powerful!! I felt incredible.

Well, there's a HUGE difference my dear (as you well know) but I'll describe more for the Non-WILDers or WILD hopefuls..

When I'm lucid, it's usually because something in the dream triggered me to become aware but I typically get bored. Lately, I've been having a hard time trying to become aware in a dream. I wake up with full dream recall and I wonder...why didn't I become lucid?

NOW.. Lucid due to WILD... You are starting off in a dream lucid.. you come into the damn thing that way rather than suddenly becoming lucid.. there's no trying.. it's immediate.. it's instant gratification...You are commanding!! You are IMMEDIATELY powerful and somehow it just felt so right after working on this so long and hard. I was on a mission.. I had a goal in mind when I went in (next time I'll command some background James Bond music 8) . Damn near felt like the movie the Matrix for sure. When I woke up, I wasn't even mad it was over... I was victorious!!!! I feel like there's nothing I can't do now. Just watch my smoke you Children of the Dream Views.....I'm going to conquer the world one night at a time (or shall I say in this case, one dream at a time).

Oooops, forgot to answer about the clarity.. got so carried away just describing how I felt... IT WAS SUPER CLEAR!! Far more than a regular ole boring dream......

grats on your WILD experience. It is a truly amazing way to enter the lucid state. It's alot more vivid and the transition stage from being conscious to directly being lucid is aweness thing to sense. You may even find that trying to do a WILD will induce an OBE! This happens to me alot, instead of just going into a dreamstate, I start to feel myself coming out of my body and I just move around or fly from there and do whatever I want to do in that state.

Cheers, to many more WILD experiences to comes, it's just the beginning...

      GREAT!!!

WILDing takes alot of effort, but the rewards are sooo sweet.
I've done 3 WILDS, but 2 failed because of the not so good circumstances, but what intrigues me is the strange things that happen whn you enter a dream... I've been in a vortex twice, and once I felt myself sinking, and started to hear words and the sounds around me became more muffled, and then all the sounds started to melt... hard to describe it but it was as if I could almost see it....

Way to go Blissful!!!!! I am glad you were able to experience what a WILD feels like. It is awesome!!! I know that after I had my first WILD I woke up and felt like the king of the world!

Anyway, I am glad that you are so determined to continue to achieve these. I wake up at 6:30 everyday too, stay up till 7 and then sleep till an hour before work(generally 10 or 11). Keep it up!!!
      If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up
But that's more than I can allow...

That's awesome. Blissful, since you were as I am now a newb at wild , can you give me a way to do it... I don't exactly understand how HI can come... I'm gonna set my clock for 4 tommorrow. Hopefully I remember to do a WILD. I really, really want to!!

Oh, and I HATE it when people aren't interested in lucid dreaming!! How could you not wanna do it... the only reason I see is if your REALLY REALLY lazy and don't wanna try it. I just don't want to dream journal. WILD seems the best technique for lazy people though. I'm lazy when it comes to lucid dreaming and everything else. Every day before school at around 4 I will wake up, turn off my alarm, then sit back down on my back, close my eyes focus on my breathing. I will think, "I will see hypnagognic imagery". I have never even got to hypnagognic imagery.

      Please help!!!!!!!!!

Yes, it's awesome. I tried again this am and of course it didn't happen. I think sometimes when you try too hard it eludes you.

Sooo. I think the best thing one can do is try not push it, don't force it, let it happen naturally.... I wish I could just do it once and be an expert but, reality just kicked me in the bum this am.... I have a feeling it'll be awhile for I WILD again.

      Blissful

P.S. Man, it's so unfair.. it's like having dry hambuger every night and then you get a taste of a juicy plump steak... that's the difference between dreaming and becoming lucid (aka dry hamburger) and becoming WILD and then lucid (aka the juicy steak). It's like upgrading on a lover... once you get a taste of real chemistry it's hard to go back to the old boring lover....

Bliss thats Awesome! Im proud of you. You know what. Now that you have the power. Going let you in on a secret. You know when you WILD you're instantly High Level Lucid. Which means that some things you may have been limited to by just LD you're going to utimately be able to now. I don't why but maybe it's different for others but, My WILDS give me more Power and control then a regular LD. And they last longer also... Keep it up and explore all that you can... I can't wait to hear more from your WILDS..

In my first WILD I didn't try to control anything, only that whatever I tried I could do, like a gravity defying jump, or putting my hand through a mirror. It also felt much more real and vivid than any other dream I can remember.

My only WILD was extremely high level. Probably up there in the top 5 of my all-time high level lucids.

I am SOOOO happy for you!

Seeker.. how long have you been trying to WILD since your one and only one?

P.S. WILD must be really fun for a kid. As an adult, I'm seeking answers to questions that I alone can't answer. As a kid, you focus on high flying tricks and gun shoot outs and just good ole teenage fun. I will try to mix more fun with my experiences (flying fun) but my main goal is to use this power to find answers.... answers I hope I can share with others to help them.

Bliss u are correct about trying too hard to have one...i used to try all teh time and it never worked ..but one day i decided i was just gonna lay down on the bed for a few minutes with no intent on going to sleep.. i was just having a little day dream and could hear the ac unit just outside the window come on. just after i closed my eyes the daydream just started to get more and more vivid. i was standing on the side of the road and thinking "damn this is getting really vivid looking... the detail is so emense" so i looked down at the ground and rubb my shoe accross the road and thought "WOW it even FEELS real" At that point i though to myself ..im not even sleeping how can it be this real ? but i guess i was stuck in the 3rd stage of falling asleep or something because i could still hear the ac unit outside and was thinkin "this sucks, the sound of that thing is gonna make me end up waking up" then i also felt myself just lying in bed ..i dont recall being able to move though .. so i just tried to concentrate more on the WILD which ended up being the longest lucid dream i had ever had.. But eventually like always ,i lost all lucidity and fell completetely asleep.
Reality is only a state of mind....
