Inhale - Exhale
My lucid dream last night was quite interesting. I haven't had a lucid dream in a few weeks until last night. I suddenly realized in my dream that i was dreaming, and decided to stay in it for awhile. Things were going pretty well at first but then something became awkward, not really sure why. I suddenly began to feel uncomfortable at the place I was and it felt as if I wasn't going to be able to escape my dream. So I said to myself, " Lauren take one deep breath and you'll wake up" so in my dream, I stood in place... took a deep long breath, and woke up in my bed in a sitting position and exhaling from the long breath i took in my dream. It was pretty cool, also a little freaky at the same time. Has anyone had something like this happen to them? I'd love to hear about it.

Ever had a dream in which you're falling then you wake up and slam into the bed? It's beause your body tenses with the fear of falling while you're waking up, then relaxes when you wake. It sounds like a similar thing happened to you with that deep breath.
Also, one of my old tricks with nightmares (before I learnt to influence them) was to reach out my real life arm to turn on the light by my bed. I'd wake up and the light would be on (or I would have overshot and fallen out of bed, either worked :P)

Hey that sounds strange! Maybe it was the first step to sleep walking?
I never experienced it.
