Hello, adamL28!
Yeah, I've had 2 WILDs so far. One of them I managed to stabilise, the other I didn't. But yeah, what you describe is EXACTLY what I get, too.

Two questions I have, though. I was very tired and therefor my recall was not at its best, but I remember a strange feelign where I was half awake while I was dreaming. Its hard to explain, but like when you are swimming with a diving mask and you can see half under the water, half above it, I'm sure I must have half-opened my eyes a few times, yet I remained in the dream. That was really weird....
Another thing, my dream was incredibly dark, it was very hard to see anything. I heard somewhere that you cannot adjust light levels in a dream, and when I tried it didnt work, so I got a little frustrated and woke myself up. [/b]
Yeah. I get this too. I'm also extremely dizzy, and stumbling, the room (In both my LD's so far, I've WILDed into a dream-version of my bedroom, like straight into a FA) spins around me. But yeah, I often get the feeling that I'm half-in, half-out of the dream.

when i WILD, as soon as i enter the dream, my vision is always blurry--ive discovered its a combination of my dream eyes and my waking eyes relaying information at the same time. my solution was to close my eyes and rub my hands together, focusing on that sensation, and when i reopen my eyes it is only the dreamscape that i see. i'm not sure if that's the same thing you described..
Hey, wow! Thanks. This explains a lot. This totally makes sense, actually, and sounds right. In my second WILD, last night, my eyes were really heavy and I kept opening and closing them as I stumbled around my dream-bedroom. In the end, I woke back up. Which was a pain. But what you suggest is worth a try. The first WILD I had, I managed to stabilise through looking at the back of my hands, but I eventually lost lucidity after about two minutes of exploring my dream-house. Huh. I'll give it a rty. Thank you for this suggestion and explanation, HEAPS.... the dream-eyes real-eyes duality actually makes a whole load of sense, because at times, I often felt like I was opening my real eyes, too...
