      Seeing Music

Hello all, this was my first lucid dream, and it was an incredible experience, it was a WILD.

I saw the rainbow-colored membrane separating reality from dreams, then I sunk through it and popped out in the dream world sky. For a little while I just flew around enjoying the sensation of the wind gusting against my body. Then I heard some music so I flew towards it. There was a soft part of the music that was a small pond that had a mournful pale blue face rise out of the water as the soft part of the song rose in climax. Then it fell back into the water as the rhythm part of the song began in the darker blue pond next to it. It rose and rose in spirals trying to save the face, but never suceeded and the soft part began again.

I flew away and saw Goddam by Alice in Chains playing to the left. There was a giant made out of yellow light thrashing around wildly. I passed him and looked for Love Hate Love also by Alice in Chains. Three was a red serpent flying through the air in rhythm to the song, then when it came to the chorus, a giant woman with a demon's face skinned the serpent alive. I flew away with every song I had ever heard available to me.

Then I heard a very mysterious one I couldn't remember ever hearing before. Its rising bass line created a green soft glass staircase spiraling into the sky. I climbed it, and once I got to the top the song began to climax with two yellow beams of light that began to pull me up. Suddenly I realized it was trying to pull me out of the dreamworld, and I wildly flew away to escape it. The staircases shook crazily then pulled themselves out of the ground and tried to pounce on me with the yellow beams as its fangs and eyes.

I flew flew flew and a flew at speeds beyond comprehension all the while with him following behind bouncing and tearing off the ground. Millions of songs blasted through my ears as the wind, their bodies a blur. Suddenly I stopped, realizing this was a dream and I could stop him. So I turned around and blasted air at him which sent him flying back. With that moment of freedom I flew out of the music zone. Behind back in the music zone I could see him bouncing off the invisible wall unable to get to me.

Then I walked over to this red dust area and sat down. I threw some dust in the air and the words "Hello" appeared in silver in the dust. I said hello back and threw more dust in the air. "How are you?"
"Good good, just dreaming right now," I replied, the dream shaking a bit but I spinned and the dream stablilized again. I continued and threw more dust in the air.
"Oh you're dreaming? Well, I'll tell you a secret. Dream is the brethren of death. When death's chase finally ends, dreams become reality."
I nodded my head thoughtfully and drifted up into the waking life. In this dream world gravity was opposite, instead of pulling me down, its natural tendency was to pull me up and awake. It took very little willpower to resist it though. I awoke.

God am, I think it is.

      Welcome bye the way.

What a cool experience. I have had many lucids with music in them. NO AIC though..

That is spectacular, the integration of color and music through out the dream.
This being your first is tremendous in content. You have potential to perhaps reach very deep levels of your subconscious and remain lucid.

Were you feeling anything upon seeing these colors?

      Wow what a cool dream.

I have had very similar dreams but it took al ot of ti
me to experiance many of them.
How bizarre That song was playing.

Cool another Alice in Chains fan
To answer your question can't say that I was feeling all that much when I saw the colors, other than holy shit this is awesome way back in my mind. Yeah, those colors were pretty insanely vivid.

Anyways I had another lucid dream this morning with the same technique, I jumped off a cliff and flew to the edge of the world, and then I had sex with a beautiful dream Asian. It was a good dream.

As a lucid beginner all you nee do know is keep doing what you are doing. Many try to complicate things too much.
It sounds like you have it together ---Alice in chains in one and an Asian in another.
      congrats!
Because you were experiencing such extraordinary colors attached to different scenes I thought you may have had an experience called synethia.
