      my first WILD!!!

Hey everybody. After being a member of this forum for well over a year, i finally had my first WILD this morning.
Here's what happened. I went to bed last night at about a quarter to eleven, my usual time.
I woke up at about 6.40am, and read a book for about an hour or so, and then decided that i wanted to go back to sleep, because i hadn't remembered any dreams. So, i went back to sleep and found myself dreaming about work. I found that rather boring, so i said to myself, this is boring, i want to dream about something else.
So i woke up, just enough so that i was aware that i was in my own bed. I then told myself that i was going to go back to sleep, and that in my next dream, i was going to find my boyfriend.
I drifted off to sleep and immediately found myself in a dream. I looked for my boyfriend, and there he was. I was excited in the dream that it had worked, but i didnt' wake up. I managed to carry on with the dream!
So i think it was a WBTB coupled with a WILD. i'm going to try it again tomorrow and see what i get.

That is so cool! Congrats on your first WILD (Promoted or not, people should still be congratulated for doing so!)! I hope you can have many more!

Congrats again! WILD is probably one of the wildest things in lucid dreaming. Going from awake directly into a lucid dream without interruption of conciousness. Wow, how cool is that!

      Lucky.

      Lcuky!
I've had something close to a WILD, but never full on.
My name may be WILD vertigo, but its really just for motivation.

He he... I like what you said there...because, the thing was, my recall had gone totally downhill. I hadn't been doing any reality checks. The only thing that changed was me going to bed at a proper time, and getting a decent night's sleep!
I tried again this morning. It sort of worked. I found the person i wanted to find (my mother) but got stuck in england instead of america...and i was so nearly there!
and i didn't realise it was a dream...
oh well, maybe next time. I'm going to document it in my dj anyhow.

Woooo! Welcome to the ranks of the WILD-initiated! (Wooo! Heheheheh feels WEIRD saying that to a DG...)

But yeah, what seeker said. The transition to a WILD is one of the coolest experieneces I've ever had, even though it's only happened twice (plus one time where I made the transition but it cut out JUST before the LD).

Damn, WILD is hard work tho...

congratulations irish, ive been trying for so long to WILD but i just cant ever do it... Its been too long and harsh of a road to have nothing to show for it, but im glad you have something to show for it, it kind of inspires me to try harder. Keep it up.
