I once tried to make something appear but it didn't work.
Did you mean for this to be in the lucid experiences section?
And what's the cool dream? :?:
He probably meant to put this as a response to a topic but added a subject.
Oh... I see. :-P
OOPS!!!! :D :D :D
Has anyone else tried to make stuff appear.
Yep. :-P One of the first things I tried to do. It isn't easy. Half the time you get something totally different or deformed.
I would suggest that you transform something already in the dreamscape is you are not good at materializing directly.
Good Idea thanks!
Yeah I tried to materialize a gun, but I just kept shaping my hand like one...no good....
Sure np. :-P Good luck.Quote:

I made a person appear once out of thin air. Didn't exactly look like him but I knew it was. Very cool and I have tried to do it again since but no luck :(
Let's see, I've tried and summoned:
- 1 normal sword that kept morphing and turned into ice cream
- 1 normal assault rifle that couldnt fire above certain point
- 1 lightsaber that was very unstable and coult be like 30 feet long
- 3 girls who looked weird
- 1 surfboard
- 1 pants
dont remember anything else right now, but this things indeed were pretty unpredictable and I saw a 3-4 sec delay before each object appeared...
I think its easier if your not looking. I tried to make something appear once but I couldn't so instead I went looking for the item and found it in the next place I looked.
If your trying to make something appear, a good way is to walk around a corner, and EXPECT it to be there. Or when you turn around, eg something similar.
The one time i tried it was when i was lucid a few years ago. I had just seen the movie clock stoppers and i tried to make the time travel watch from it appear.
That's hilarious :rolllaugh:Quote:

It is funny how unstable things are in the dream world, you try to alter some things and you unconscious always gets the best of you, unless you are at a very high level of lucidity, of course....
Haha this reminds me of the music clip everlong by foo fighters
go the wood chucks and the hand slappers :D
one thing i've noticed about making things materialize.
its easier, and more correctly done, if you materialize things you dont actually own.
for example; i'm a gun collector. sometimes in my dreams i'll decide to bring a gun in. so i might think, i'll take the glock 19. look in my hand, and i'm holding a springfield armory 1911. i think, thats not right. glock 19...now i'm holding a S&W99. oh whatever, this'll do.
but if i want something i dont actually have....voila. no problem. haven't quite figured out why that is. and actually i've gotten better at getting what i want every time, but sometimes my details are off just a little.
I don't know much about materializing things but that sounds like good advice...
I would think that after materializing several objects you own(which as you said should be easier) one would master the art, and be able to summon other objects with much more ease
I want to summon a fudge popsicle right now.... Ahh crap I'm not dreaming!!!!
Muuuu popsicle.... *drools*
I've done it once so far. My dad was eating shrimp in the kitchen, the jumbo kind, and they looked really good (like Red Lobster good). Anyways, for whatever reason, he didn't want them, and offered them to me. But he looked hungry, so I closed my eyes and willed it to be something else. I can't remember what it changed into at first, but I tried again and on my second attempt it changed into a roastbeef sandwhich, which also looked very good. :D
I de-materialised something, not yet tried to make anything appear.
This reminds me, for some reason, every gun that I materialize would not reload. I have to find another one or make another one. Maybe it's because I never reloaded a machinegun in real life?
