Strange thing
Where to start..... I had a starge experience 2 nights ago, thats why i started to seek answers and came to this site, not exactly, google directed me, he coudn't find anything about this fenomena in my launguage, accept it is called in english lucid dreams.
I've read some of the articles in this section and the thing i've encountered was nothing like you describe in: no fire breathing dragons, no flesh eating ogres, no fighting with evil wizards and rescuing princes.
I don't really know why i'm puting this post here, maybe to say what i've experienced and get rid off it out of my mind as soon as possible.
The experience was simple i woke up i though that i woke up, just woke up in the bed, not like in normal dream flote around or fall down of a building, there was a diffrent feelling around me as every thing was "sticky" - wrong word. I will try to describe it , as everything had no texture, no touch, no pressure. It was a moment i've realized somethings wrong i knew that i was dreaming, it wasn't in the middle of the dream , IT SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME and I really don't know why are you so exited about this. I've tried to woke up, I've got in the same place i've started laying on my bed on belly, how i always sleep, instantly i 've realized it's a dream , the same feeling. I've tried thinking about falling out of something, like trying to dream in a dream, i wasn't falling i've felt the surrounding, the "sticky' sensation. Then i've finally felt my comforting pillow. I was happy like a baby i've finally woke up. I never felt it, i always thought that this geting out of body and everything all this is just mambo-jumbo, that they get high and see things. To be honest i don't want that sensation to happen again, it's not pleasent, it's not fun.
PS. sorry for my english, it's a bit rusty. If i had the possibilty i would wrote it down in my own launguage. Google did get my any :)
PS2. This thing shouldn't happend to my i'm not a spiritual man. I'm a racionable thinking student of technical university( 4 year :):):) ).
PS3( to ADMIN or someone else) You mention trening technics about developing your dreams , could you please send me how to GET RID OFF THEM. I really don't want this to happend again, it's frustrating.

Ok...basically what you experienced is nothing unusual. It's called a False Awakening, or FA. I can see how a false awakening might be frightening to someone who has never had one before, and who has never been lucid in a dream before. You had a false awakening, and then realized it wasn't right and became lucid.
Sometimes FAs can be frustrating...I find that I've woken up in a dark room and I know that I'm still dreaming right away, but I can't seem to make any interesting lucid dream out of it. Lucid dreams are wonderful and exciting...you just got stuck in a bad FA experience. You could very easily (if you learn how) turn that FA into a magnificent lucid dream.
If it happens again here's what you should do to turn it into a great lucid dream:
1. try to find a door or window and think...when I open the door...there will be a beautiful ocean, or mountains, or something there, and then you can fly out into the dreamscape
2. stand there and spin around in circles very fast, this is called dream spinning and can be very helpful to transport you from the darkness of your false awakening into a beautiful dreamscape
I really suggest that you try to make the best out of it...lucid dreaming is really great after all...but if you find that it still frightens you if it happens again...just remain calm and know that nothing can hurt you...and that it's a new experience and learn from it. Don't be scared!
I can't give you specific techniques on how to force yourself to wake up...because honestly...I've never wanted to wake up from a lucid dream! And even when I get a crappy FA I still can usually make something really cool out of it...by finding a window and flying away or something.

Don't be scared
Aquanina is right you shouldn't be scared. I just had an FA and my FA's are a lot worse, i mean waking up in your bed and not being able to move and something is ripping you apart isn't a very nice experience, but despite that i have started to calm my self in those type of situations and have now found many ways on how to get ride of it and move on.
Just remeber its a dream, its your own mind and you have complete control of your mind. Without control we have nothing.
I know how you feel about scary FAs but the best thing to do in any type of scary dream is to calm your self down and that scary dream will calm down it self and maybe that scary dream will never come back. It has worked for me a lot and i'm glad i've found this sight and i'm sure this sight will help you.
Stick around for a bit i'm sure you'll get a good experience from it and remeber Clear thoughts and keep calm.
