First LD, better than imagined.
I just had my first LD 5 minutes ago. It started when I stayed up until 5 am and had to leave the house at 8 am... I came home later to take a nap. Well I feel asleep and when I got to dreaming I dreamt I was in my living room watching white supremacist propaganda (some odd film about tiled stairs and white people and superiority :-P), when I walk in to the hall way and on the stairs is a group of racially diverse children like some thing strait out of Barney. There was a cute little dark skinned girl standing in the living room right there, and I saw (or thought I saw, as the image I remember now was perfectly fine, though it seemed distorted at the time) that she had abnormally long legs and an abnormally short torso (like a Barbie doll, but less extreme). So I did a RC, and I had the strangest sensation as air was whooshing through my nose. So I though "Awe-some, I'm having my first LD!" So I went out side to see what I could see, got to the middle of the street, and woke up. But some thing was strange. I did another RC from the bed I woke up and and was still asleep, so I floated in a circle around my room for a while, It was SOOO FUN! But I started to feel like I was waking up, so I felt my finger tips (which felt very real) and examined my finger nails (which also felt very real), and set out to find a beautiful woman when I woke up for real.
The best things in life are most definitely free, this is the most fun and interesting experience I've had in a long, long time.
As a note, when I became lucid I had a hard time getting a clear image. Up until that point the pictures were clear but when I became lucid it felt like my eyes were partially closed, and no matter what I did I couldn't open them more or get a better view, although the picture I saw of my fingers when I examined it was perfect. It was like watching it from 1st and 3rd person at the same time. I could hear the rubbing sound my finger tips made as I examined them at 3x bigger than any eye alone could see. 8-)
I can't wait until #2... :D
